Win or lose, Dean Barkley should be commended for bringing a level of decency and honesty to what was quite possibly the worst example of mudslinging and flat out immaturity of any election in recent memory. Shame on you Norm Coleman and Al Franken. Dean Barkley, today you got my vote, and hopefully many, many others.
He was already a U.S. Senator for almost a month. He was appointed by Ventura to serve out Wellstone's term after he died in a plane crash in northern Minnesota. I met him at the state fair when I was a kid way back in 1990 or 91 or so and talked with him. He was a pretty cool guy.
He ought to win in a landslide. Even against the odds and the voting machines. There ought to be so many Dean Barkley votes that it's immpossible to steal. C'mon Minnesota we need all the good people we can get
Great ad Dean Barkley! Thank heavens you didn't stoop to insulting Minnesotans and Americans by making a dirty immature ad like Norm Coleman and Al Franken.
People, let us send Mr. Barkley to Washington to help wash the filth out of American politics. Vote for Dean Barkley
I heard about Dean Berkley from Jesse Ventura, when he mentioned Barkley on the Alex Jones radio show, I went to Barkley's website and I agree with him on how to improve things. I donated some money to his campaign, and I am from Michigan. I think we need all the Indepandants in washington we can get, no matter what state they come from. I imagine he got a lot of donations to run his tv ads after being mentioned by Jesse ventura.
As a young Minnesota voter, I believe it's a shame that Barkley probably won't win the election (although anything could happen). Our Congress (along with its single-digit approval rating) is crying out for people like Barkley who aren't tied up to all the money involved with special interests and party politics, and can use their independent judgment on what's best for Minnesota and the rest of our country.

A solid ad, let's hope it strikes a chord with voters. I've already seen it once on TV - Fox 9.

Dean is an honest man. He deserves to be sent to Washington

Yeah, I think this ad gets that across.
Although I don't think he deserves to be sent to Washington. No man deserves such a fate.
