  • I am trying so hard to get my needle scale! :( I can't even do a scorpion! Can you tell me what stretches helped you with yours?

  • @songofserenity What's a scorpion? Wow, I haven't tried this in ages. Your vids show better back flex than me, so maybe the legs? I'm no expert. I have an oversplit on the side I use for needle scale, my hammies aren't as good as I want them, but my hip flexors are decently flexy. I had to stretch and strengthen my sides and shoulders to hold my heavy leg up and cope with the roll-around bit. Which bit of it are you struggling with?

  • @MilienElayne A scorpion is like a needle scale but bent legged while a needle is a full back standing split.

    I guess it's the legs and shoulders maybe (my shoulders suck) I can't even reach back. :/ The part where you grab your leg with your hand and then turn your shoulders/body into the transition scale pose is soo hard for me. Like my sides hurt so I guess that's what you mean by strengthen your sides (How'd you do that btw?) Thanks a lot, your great!
