  • Rimbert is, what Michel Geiss was in the 70s for Jarre and sometimes there are rumors that Oxygene from 1976 was more Geiss, less than Jarres work. Jarre is a showmaster, who needs the crowd, not a big musician. Says -me- as a -big- Jarre fan.

  • @TheMCMXXL2 nonsense, when you have done such masterpieces, you should have time to relax, feel fame, shouting crowd when you are on the scene, not only all the time playing on 5 synth devices, with no time to communicate with audience or just enjoying the sound how awsome you are :D

  • @TheMCMXXL2

I can't agree with you. The melodies of Oxygene are simply Jarre. Michel Geiss was the sound Engineer and he has produced the new effects and sounds but the main work is the melody that came in mind when listening. I agree about the album is also an artistic contribution by Geiss, specially for some sounds (but not all).

  • Only One Word: WOW!

  • Jean michel isone the greatest syntheziser and multimedia artist in the world! No wonder that he is the man in the guinnes book of records for the most wisit concert ever!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • @529550 Yes, but too bad that it seems that he simply cannot play, as seen on his other concerts. Keys are being pressed too late or the wrong ones. As it usual looks, "the Sequencer" Francis Rimbert, the guy at the right side, does all the Work; he was in fromer times his "backup" part. "Oxyenge in your living room", or how it was called, was the best example. A man with nearly 40 Years of experience in music cannot play his own songs without mistake, even the rather easy-to-play Oxygene 4.

  • @TheMCMXXL2 enjoy the video and stfu, nobody cares his f*cking playback, it seems that the only important think about Jarre is if he does playback or not.

  • @proximityeffect1 Actually I do. Been involved in music either playing or appreciating my entire life. I am sure that JMJ is talented and he does have some popularity in particular countries. Because of this I did a little research and have been watching videos of his performances. The more I watch, the less likely I will be a fan.

OK, assume I know nothing and don't know what I am talking about. Can you explain why anyone would want to see this guy play video game music?

  • @dank2000 Hey, there's nothing wrong with expressing an opinion or asking for the ideas of others. My own opinion is that a live Jarre concert takes on a life of its own, the kind of thing that sweeps the crowd away with a certain relentless musical optimism. It's not the music unto itself, but the entire production--Jarre's own exuberance, live music with friendly folks, the upbeat sense of it all--that has made his concerts so popular around the world. I could be wrong. Just sayin' is all.

  • anyone listening to this tetris music lol

  • best show ever...but now i'm waiting for the chem. bros.!

  • best show ever, thank you Mr Jarre

  • I was watching this live and playing my synth to it too! I felt part of the concert!! (Although JMJ didn't know of course :-)

  • Really? Don't get it. Just one guy playing the synth? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @dank2000 well more people have seen him live in concert than some of the biggest touring artists in the worl, u2 rolling stones etc! just visit a show you'll see why, the energy in a jarre concert doesnt quite come thru in a vid! i've seen him 6 times now n i'm 23! he must b doing something right.

  • good show

  • I listen to Jarre since 1989 but this concert is one of the best I have ever seen. A fantastic gift to the Prince and the new Princess....super

  • Jarre is the One.

  • super concert a quand le prochin

  • 0:28 Albert's lost in the groove. Charlene's sideways glance speaks volumes. LOL

Fantastic concert - JMJ sure knows how to put on a show.
