Will is a Brady and a Horton and they are the two goody goody families ie they are most of the lawyers, cops and respectable citizens.

he says he really wants people to spread the message that being gay nothing wrong and that he wants to eliminate the stigma that comes along with "being gay" but i doubt being on a soap opera is the way to get his message out
i hope that it doesn't take them a long time to kiss and have sex haha i want it to happen soon so we can focus on a solid gay storyline and i hope they keep sonny on for a long time
funny cuz american soap operas are horrible when compared to european soap operas - the gay storyline on hollyoaks with both JP/craig and JP/kieron were really amazing and the actors were excellent idk so much about this though

I think the actors on this show are good, most of them. The thing is, it looks better on tv than on YT. I think because the show is filmed in a slow style and the sets look old school and it doesn't tranlate as well on YT, but this show is pretty good and I think the Sonny/Will sl will be great.

After kish was written off the air and nuke's show was canceled,there were no same sex couples on american soaps anymore.now with only straight couples they're still dropping.I hope Will and Sonny are given a chance.Usually the soaps are bombarded with threats of a boycott,name calling etc.Same sex couples do have their fans but that didn't help Nuke and Kish in the long run.I'm grateful for the internet so I can see ED,Chrolli,Hollyoaks.

I've been a dedicated watcher of daytime dramas for years. I believe soaps are a training ground for some actors. It is an opportunity for novices to hone their skills. There have been many actors that started in soaps and were raw talent but they grew and won over audiences. That said, it can be hard to watch and wait for the eventual growth. These young 'teen' or not so teen actors still have their acting training wheels on and it is going to hard to watch Will and Sonny's story.
Good start. I'll be following this storyline. Sonny and and Will are both adorable. The look on Will's face when he met Sonny said it all. :D I now pronounce them WilSon.

@MarcusLeMuso... Not all American daytime dramas suck. DAYS has some great daytime veterans. Yes, the show can be campy. And the writing can be uneven at times but that is the nature of serial television. Sometimes, a show needs a new crop of writers with a fresh new approach. Getting back to the sucky comment, it is unfortunate that Days has chosen a group of novice actors to be a part of such an important story. Let's hope they get better soon.

Wow DAYS is actually going forward with this story. I'm pleasantly suprised. I figured with the new writing regime it would've been scrapped. This is one of those times where I'm happy to say I was wrong. :) Oh and Kinsey is a b****!

@corvus13 I grew up on Days and watch it every now and then when I have time, especially during summer break. I wanted to see what was going on with their characters. You know the shows going down hill when they have to follow the lead of other soaps. Days was always different, now it's not. Just look at this board, half the people don't even know what show it is, they're just watching because it has 2 gay boys on it.
@wowoak ...It is not uncommon for viewship for soaps to spike during the summer. Most soaps pen teen stories during the summer to appeal to teens. The fact that the story features two gay teens makes the teen storyline all the more appealing. Days has always been different than other soaps. It's campier and much more daring with its storytelling. However, it is still a soap and it does tell tried and true soap stories, coming of age stories included. It doesn't make the show a conformist.

i love this soap opera and just in case if anybody wants to know the actor who plays sonny is also involved in another gay storyline in 90210 as marco teddy's boyfriend and i read about it Trevor donovan who plays teddy in 90210 was dropped down to recurring status on 90210 recently and will only be in 5 episodes this next season and that means we will see less of Freddie smith aka marco on 90210 but then i read that he will be on Days as Will's new love interest i got excited

Oh great, another frustrating soap romance I'll be watching. Alll the Nuke and Fish stuff I put myself through, and I'm doing it again lol. One big positive I see though. Sonny is already out. I always felt Noah on ATWT should've already been out when he came to Oakdale, so at least we won't have to deal with two people coming out. Despite all the weird stuff these damn soaps, I'll admit I'm looking forward to see how Days plays this out.
I have a good feeling about this.. I'm pretty used by now to US soaps Storytelling and I don't think I will be disappointed more than I have been before!! I already have low expectations!! As long as no one gets hit by a train (LuRe and Aarson), loses their eyesight (Nuke), or gets shot by a crazy maniac (David/Fer), I will be more than happy. Any kisses or intimate scenes between these boys will be a bonus. I mean for godsakes, I stuck with both Nuke and Aarson for years and they were freakin abstinent their entire storylines
@SCgullahgirl Luke and Reid :) But Reid got hit by a train as the show was cancelled, and they killed him off. They freakin gave his heart to his coworker and the straight couple ended up happily ever after while Luke was crushed.
Most of these 'actors' are pretty...and that's all there really is to them.

@kaydee161991 Abby's father Jack and Sonny's mother Adrienne are brother and sister. Will's father Lucas and Abby's mother Jennifer are brother and sister. So, Abby is the common cousin to both Sonny and Will without either guy being related to each other

When Gabi told Will that she understand why he doesn't want to have sex with her, and that's because he doesn't want to follow his parent's mistakes, you can just tell he's thinking "wow, that's a pretty good reason why I don't want to have sex with her, now I have an excuse every time she wants to sleep with me!"
And I don't understand it either, if Will is a cousin of Abigail and Sonny is a cousin of Abigail, they are also cousins.. Could it be that the writers simply didn't notice it?

I'm confused. Abagail is also cousins with Sonny. So does that mean Will and Sonny are going to be cousins who fall for each other? Is that where this is going? I have never watched this show before...... someone please explain this to me.

I wonder why the writers couldn't have made them completely unrelated or something. They will make an incredibly cute couple though.

Days would be a helluva lot more interesting if this "gay" s/l would be a triangle with Will, Sonny, and Chad. Chad is smokin' hot and some of the past scenes with he and Will were sizzling. It would certainly be more entertaining and worth watching than having to be subjected to yet another very boring coming out story.

The dialog on Days is soo lame. These "teen" girls are nothing short of Bimbo Gurls and what's with all that damn long hair? Have they ever heard of donating those ridiculous mops of hair for cancer patients? This looks like the s/l of Will and Sonny is going to a very long and boring dragged out affair. I was always hoping Chad might be gay. I thought it would be interesting to have a gay Dimera just to see Stefano's reaction but a gay Kiriakas will be interesting too. I don't know why but I think ole Victor will suprise us and be cool with it. Also I'm wondering if maybe they'll be smart and bring Lucas back for this story after all Will is going to need his sane parent to support him through it all.

As for his mother's grandmother,Caroline, she's not as a devout and strict catholic as you may think. @corvus13 I grew up on Days and watch it every now and then when I have time, especially during summer break. I wanted to see what was going on with their characters. You know the shows going down hill when they have to follow the lead of other soaps. Days was always different, now it's not. Just look at this board, half the people don't even know what show it is, they're just watching because it has 2 gay boys on it.

@wowoak ...It is not uncommon for viewship for soaps to spike during the summer. Most soaps pen teen stories during the summer to appeal to teens. The fact that the story features two gay teens makes the teen storyline all the more appealing. Days has always been different than other soaps. It's campier and much more daring with its storytelling. However, it is still a soap and it does tell tried and true soap stories, coming of age stories included. It doesn't make the show a conformist.

Anyway I really hope for some good drama out of this and Days does it justice.

i love this soap opera and just in case if anybody wants to know the actor who plays sonny is also involved in another gay storyline in 90210 as marco teddy's boyfriend and i read about it Trevor donovan who plays teddy in 90210 was dropped down to recurring status on 90210 recently and will only be in 5 episodes this next season and that means we will see less of Freddie smith aka marco on 90210 but then i read that he will be on Days as Will's new love interest i got excited

Oh great, another frustrating soap romance I'll be watching. Alll the Nuke and Fish stuff I put myself through, and I'm doing it again lol. One big positive I see though. Sonny is already out. I always felt Noah on ATWT should've already been out when he came to Oakdale, so at least we won't have to deal with two people coming out. Despite all the weird stuff these damn soaps, I'll admit I'm looking forward to see how Days plays this out.

I have a good feeling about this.. I'm pretty used by now to US soaps Storytelling and I don't think I will be disappointed more than I have been before!! I already have low expectations!! For now I'll just enjoy the sight of these two.. they are both charming and good looking and Will ♥ when he's all smiles and start stuttering and acting bashful, I just want to eat him up ♥

@faffounette Freddie Smith is gorgeous... And he always gets paired up with HOT guys. But I digress. Totally agree with you about having low expecations. As long as no one gets hit by a train (LuRe and Aarson), loses their eyesight (Nuke), or gets shot by a crazy maniac (David/Fer), I will be more than happy. Any kisses or intimate scenes between these boys will be a bonus. I mean for godsakes, I stuck with both Nuke and Aarson for years and they were freakin abstinent their entire storylines
