  • How long per teatment should you massage?

  • I tried acupunture first to get some range back before tying this technique. They work well together.

  • Can't really take advice from a jerk with full motion. Maybe I'm just bitter because I can barely type this with two hands.

  • Hello,

do you massage through the latissimus on the lateral border of the scapula or are you coming right through the armpit?

  • hey my mom has frozen shoulder will steriods help her

  • I tried this (after 20 physical therapies) and it helped me lift my arm higher on my own. It hurts under the arm pit, but then it feels better. Great exercise for someone who has slightly better range of motion. Not for a person with completely frozen shoulder.

  • I would never trust a physical therapist of any kind that is as overweight as this guy!

  • that feels better already, how often and how many repetitions, thank you Valerie

  • I cannot move my arm anything like that at all. If I could Id probably just have thought my bursitis was acting up again. Did you need a lot of physical therapy to get that far massagenerd?

  • absolutely impossible with true frozen shoulder, (adhesive capullitis) I know I have bi-lateral...it's hell on earth!

  • Check out the founder of TRIGENICS, Dr. Allan Oolo Austin who claims that, he has invented an interactive frozen shoulder procedure, the "Oolo Austin FS Recovery Procedure" which fixes frozen shoulder in one visit! The patient stays awake! He has a youtube video where 3 patients are testimonials to this .. FROZEN SHOULDER FIXED IN 1 MINUTE and there are also a number of other convincing videos on youtube with many other patients getting the same results! Looks like a medical BREAKTHROUGH to me!

  • It is close to a year now and my range of motion I must say has improved tremendously, I can even touch the back of my head to comb my hair, what I cannot do is scrub my back, as long as I can play tennis and now I can swing that golf club, I am oK, good luck to you, stay well

  • wow that hurt really badly i could only to 2

but im gonna keep trying (great video)

  • what if you have tendonosis too?is it cureable?

  • I just got a mua done last week and started physical therapy, i cannot even hold my hair with my left hand to do a simple pony tail. i can tell i am in for some HELL!!!!!

  • @doowopshopgal I had surgery on my shoulder in oct.,,,and i have been going to physio 3 times a week trying to get the movement back in my shoulder........well for the last 3 weeks i feel that my arm is getting worse...like stiff as hell.....and yes i now have frozen shoulder...with a fresh wound to boot and doing some of these excercises is like...impossible and as far as the ponytail goes i am still trying to get my hand up there to fix my hair.

  • My range of motion isn't that great. How do I do this with limited range of motion? I'd like to see a person newly suffering from frozen shoulder demonstrate this self massage. Thanks.

  • You would have to use a massage tools to get into there if you can't reach it.

  • Great, but when you have a frozen shoulder how do you get your arm across like that.. ? You can't.

  • All depends how severe it is and you might have to use a tool to start with.

  • @massagenerd: i cant even do anything without feeling sharp pains in my shoulders. how the hell am i supposed to do that?

No offence to you man - just this shoulder of mine is getting to me..

I respect your efforts on helping others.

  • @dannyrea246 let some one in your family do the massage...while you concentrate on one hand only...

  • good tip!
