Are people really debating on whether or not the Camaro was stock? A GC SRT8 would have easily blown away a stock z28, and then some.

@AnonymousOnSteroids umm come again?...are u saying a stock SRT 8 jeep would decimate a stock LS1 Z28 in a race?..u smoking crack?..just cause the SRT8 has 100 hp more does'nt mean anything when it weights 1000lbs more also...and a stock LS1 F bodies have ran as fast as 12.7's before..but the average with an average driver is 13.3's and 12.9's with a good driver on a good track...but stock SRT8 jeeps run low 13's also..so it would actualy be an even race stock for stock...no deciamation at all

@ilovechevy1 Stock SRT8 Jeep would beat a stock Z28-SS with LS1 and auto gearbox but if the Camaro had the 6speed it would probably just take it in the last hundred yards or so.

Having owned both I can say that putting the power down in the SRT8 is so much easier to do than in the Camaro.
