I have been watching a few of these school performances on youtube and this is one of the better ones I have seen. Other ones have great singers for Maureen but not really good ones for Joanne. It's nice to see one that gives the character of Joanne an actor with a decent voice. Great job to both ladies. Wonderful voices!

@Nf9456 I think that for 17/18 year olds they were rather fantastic. The girl who played Joanne was engaging and the girl who played Maureen was vibrant.

@raesolsticeonlyone sorry but i disagree and I'm in high school, so I'm comparing this to people I know. the lines don't flow well and it doesn't sound like a conversation in the beggining. its just them reading lines with emotion. Joanne starts to walk out and then turns around with harldy any coaxing from maureen. it should have been more of a struggle. However, they do have amazing voices and great blend! (besides 4:28) and their acting improves towards the end which is good.
