  • hahaha I still remember when I was kid and had a couple of wrestling games in Atari 2600, the characters were just a bunch of square dots, nowadays kids are very very lucky!!!

  • @gabrielirlanda thanx for the comment, Gabriel I. yeah, it's quite amazing how technology has advanced in the last 30+ years...one minute yer playing 2 vertical lines having a squared dot bounce off them , the next you see CG images that look not-quite-but-almost real; and controllers go from just 2 buttons & a D-pad to 8-10 buttons, a D=pad and 2 analogsticks. evolution's funny that way! when you can, please watch the other vids on this station.

  • @gabrielirlanda

    I don't share your opinion, because I played Amiga 500 when I was young.^^

  • Thanks. If for some reason this actually happened in a WWE show, I would start watching WWE again religiously.

  • Which remix of the opening theme is this one? I've never heard it before, but I do like it. Would like to get it for myself.

  • @KoruKinshi it's made by the contempo-orchestral group daXX. you can find it here on youtube under the name "daXX - Title (Shadow of the beast Orchestra Remix)". hope that helps! wouldn't know where to go to download it...sorry bout that. also hope you get around to watch the 2011 version of this vid, as well as all the other vids on this station.

  • I would greatly enjoy someone to make a mugen character of Aarbarron.

I'd do it myself but I know nothing of the system.

  • @Waxer3929 thanx for the comment, Waxer! I'd love to see one myself. maybe there are instructions on Google on creating "editd" for original MUGEN characters. also, hope you can watch my 2011 rendition of Aarbarron, as well as all the other vidz on this station when you're able. Peace!

  • thats why "that" E3 was soooo epic and the BE(a)ST of all!!!

  • please check my vision of the Shadow of the beast IV on deviantart

  • @vaan1602 please tell me your devant id to start searching. BTW, now that I was able to obtain a scanner (thanx, dad. I owe ya big!) I may show my artwork (oh yeah...I draw too.) on DA soon...maybe before the end of the year if all things go well. and I hope all things go well with you and your work. thanx for the comment/info & be sure to check all other vids on this station.

  • @triplestar100 my login is vaandark

  • I'd love to see the whole Shadow of the Beast trilogy remade for the PS3 in platform style (download from PSN store) :)

  • @SPeacock thinking it like that...it would work too! like what EA did with Shank, more or less, but with emphasis on platforming & puzzlesolving like the originals.

  • Pysgnosis were the publisher but Reflections were the developer (I think they are Newcastle based). Reflections made the Driver series and Wheelman. Don't know which of the two owns the rights.

  • @canis77 ah, I see! thanx for the bit of info, Canis. it would still be hyper-cool to see these game companies join together and mend any differences they may have (wishful thinking, anyway) to bring this gem of classic gaming to the modern masses...and do it PROPERLY! (cause some remakes just dont deserve the title they got...you know which ones, right?)

  • now that Sony owns Psygnosis(now known as Studio Liverpool), wouldn' it be absolutely O.D. cool if they remade this masterwork of surrealist gaming? and the icing on that cake: 1)give it the GOW engine...hell, even give AArbarron the Beast Kratos voice-actor, and2)all the artwork be COMPLETELY made by H.R. Giger(the guy who designed Aliens and Predator)! whatcha guys think?

  • @triplestar100 yeah that would be awesome, but just letting you know H R Giger Only Designed & Created the Alien not the Predator, It was Stan Winston who Designed Created the Predator, It was also Stan Winston who created the Ridged Headed Aliens in the 2nd Alien movie called Aliens, he also created the Terminator & also the Dinosaurs in the Durasic Park Movies, He also Designed & Created the Reptilian Enemy Forces in the Comedy Movie Galaxy Quest but Stan sadly past away with Cancer This Year

  • @Predator01 mayhe rest eternally then! thanks for clarifying things for me, Predator01. I like talking to people such as you: more knowledgeable of these subjects. helps me increase my own and avoid further errors. also, thanx for commenting. be sure to watch more vidz on this station. Peace!

  • @triplestar100 Your welcome, here's the link to Stan Winston's Studio & check out the timeline of all the movie's he's helped Design & Create the creatures for w w w . stanwinstonstudio . com / home . h t m l sorry i had to space the link out otherwise it wouldn't of posted so just take the spaces out :) anyway i do love the Beast you created in the wrestling game here as i am a Big Fan of The Shadow Of The Beast Games myself but i have to say my fav is Shadow Of The Beast 2 :)

  • @Predator01 I feel you on that one. especially the death scene...ah, the death scene!!! shivers up my spine and tears to my eye everytime I listen to the track!

  • @triplestar100 Indeed I think its safe to say that Shadow of the Beast 2 was the best one out of the 3 in my personal opinion i also think it had the best music theme's than the other 2 did also, & believe it or not i actually have all the shadow of the beast 1 2 & 3 music stored on my Ipod along with 100's of other retro games music & remixes all A to Z you name it i probably got it on my Ipod :) & if i dont then i will sure to download it & add it to my collection if i find it :)

  • @Predator01

    Good moves Predator.

I preferred SoTB 3 for the character and setting but SoTB 2 for the complexity and challenge of the levels.

This really was a great trilogy of games that went outside of the box, to other worlds you might say...

  • sweet looking char mate, you did a really good job with the likeness. I made a load of Dragonball Z characters like vegeta, great saiya man and dabura on smack down just bring it years ago, they give alot of freedom to customize on those game. Keep it up

  • @grimreefer1337 thanx a million, Grim! I really enjoy SOTB(especially the MegaDrive version.) I always try to hit the accuracy button when it comes to CAWs...sometimes it works, as was this case. be sure to watch the other vids on this channel. he's also downloadable at WWE CC, tag:wild009.cheers!

  • insane ! :D

  • @balimynah glad you liked it! be sure to watch the other vids on this channel for more CAW goodness. Peace!
