I really want to find the Turbo Duo version. I know the sound by ear, so I could easily identify it if I heard it. It's just so damn hard to find.

All I know is, finding an audio rip from the game CD is almost impossible. I have every album from the Legend of Heroes collection, but the only thing I can find for DS: LoH is the MSX version. I want the TBGX 16 rip :(

wrong, this is from Dragon Slayer: The legend of heroes JDK Special and it sounds like in the game if I remember correctly, perfect collection sound very different

I just got my hands on a rip finally, it's definitely not the game version. The game version, the melody is done by synth. This one is done by fake trumpets.

Falcom's music is always good. :) The arranged music from the Turbo Duo version is better, but it's kinda hard to find. Wish I knew where I could get them...

Exactly, Ys is their most famous series. But they have a tons of games and series, Legend of heroes/Eiyuu Densetsu, Xanadu, Sorcerian, Zwei!, Brandish...
