I still use the FZ7, FZ38 and the GH1. The quality is virtually identical at 720p from the GH1 and the FZ38. The FZ38 is much lighter and compact, The GH1 is used when i need to use my additional nikon lenses via a nikon to micro 4/3 adaptor. The lcd scene is bigger on the GH1 and the electronic viewfinder superb. The FZ38 viewfinder is a little more difficult to see the image clearly and the FZ38 doesn't have the swivel lcd screen but it is £650 cheaper!
