  • this vid was a lifesaver! my mom recommended jolene to me to lighten my brows, but i had no concept of how it worked or how to use it. thanks and great vid! your brows look fab!

  • @badazzbrnskngirl Good stuff! x

  • I like your accent so much!

  • @galtsevak Thank you:) x

  • I just used this very product and technique on my brows tonight, and loved the results :) My current hair colour is copper red, and my eyebrows are just a bit too dark and ashy-toned to really look good with it. Lightening them like this worked a treat!

  • @resurrectedwreck Good stuff!

  • this was extremely helpful thanks a million

  • @mendoromi NO PROBLEM! X

  • Th Th Th Th Th Th Hmmmm feels weird.

  • Thank you :) I dyed my hair blonde and I love it but I have darkkk eyebrows. I just want mine to a brown color so the contrast is less extreme. They wont go like orange will they? And I live in the US, is jolene available here also?

  • @11annabellerose Yes, I believe so!! x

  • You reminded me of Matilda xD

  • they look the same

  • aahhh i love your eyebrows

  • what colour does this product turn your eyebrows if you originally have thick black eyebrows (i know that time is a variable)?

  • @raspyshiit It more depends on your hairs undertones. If you are dark but with red tones your brows will most likely go a reddish hue, etc. x

  • great vid but i think the thicker eyebrows dont do ur face justice just looks all wrong im not tryin to be mean or anythin just my opinion xx

  • What nail polish are you wearing? It's really pretty.

  • @iamsrsbsns It's a Hello Kitty nail polish by H&M. Love it <3 xx

  • @ccgirlxxx Oh, beautiful Strawberry blonde colour!! Glad to help:) x

  • This product is great I've been using it for a long time basically any drug store carries this thanks for sharing

  • @curlideva Yeah, you can get it everywhere here!!

  • I've been using that product for 20years now ( OMG already! ) and it's never failed me. Very good for any type of bleaching you would need.

  • @llsand75 I didn't know that it has been around for that long!! Must be good!! x

  • very helpful, thanks for sharing :)

  • Very helpful thanxs!!! Can't wait to see what your hair's gonna look like!! xoxoxo

  • @sandracBG Thanks:) x

  • WOW so helpful!!!! =) and safe!! =) thanks a lot ♥

    I love your hair =)

  • @Guilele Thanks!

  • Helpful video,,, thank you honey :)

  • @orerororeo Glad to hear:) x

  • very helpful i been dying for this tutorial,,i guess i just never ask,,lol,,,what nail polish is that,,

  • @23guerita Hallo Kitty for H&M Barry M & Mac!! I was in the mood for them all, lol:P x

  • I see a bit of a difference....But i know the camera..isn't showing it up much...

Nice and clean job of it...Some of them i've seen...They got that stuff dropping in their eyes and everything..[which is something that would happen to me..I'm sure of it..]

  • @MercedesGames Haha, I never understand when I see it piled on either!!

  • thank you so much for sharing this, it helped me alot! i am extremely pale with very dark brown almost black eyebrows and they always looked so harsh :(

  • @Madiyah07 Yeah, I find my natural colour quite harsh aswell!

  • I can definitely see a difference. Something must be wrong with the people's computers who didnt see one.

  • @MissPrissJewels Ha ha, maybe their screens?

  • Would you recommend bleaching the eyebrows when you have sparse eyebrows but are lightening hair a few shades?

  • @dragonweengs If anything, lightening them will make the sparse bits even less noticeable as there would be less contrast between hair and skin!! Go for it:) x

  • @MonicaClipa26 I thought that at first, but went back and compared. There is a subtle difference, they're a lighter brown now.

  • I love when you say a wee-bit! ;)

  • @TheLilDani Lol:P x

  • I've always been scared to do bleach my eyebrows but you made it seem so easy!

  • @123leelu It is easy!!!!

  • looks better

  • The Jolen does a gradual lightening, and it did lighten. I've used it before and it seems to be the most gentle.

  • @staciarose20 It's my favourite too:)

  • still dark looking?

  • @missfemale They are a good bit lighter in real life, more subtle on camera!

  • I was just wondering why anyone would want to bleach their brows?

I have black hair, so my brows are black. I like my dark brows, but I was wondering why lighten them? Is it so you can draw on the shape better if you want to chance the shape from day to day?

  • @AngyDragonfly some people do it for that reason, but most peole do it when they lighten their hair so it matches better and isn't so harsh looking :)

  • @rahrahritaa

*facepalm* ha ha ha. That makes much more sense.

(Now that I've also re-watched the video, and she said it in the beginning....)

  • This product does work really well and is inexpensive. i used it for years :] good stuff

  • We have the same product in Canada :)

  • @cerebraloddity It seems to be everywhere!!

  • I like to crush the accelerator with something to make it more powdery, that way it mixes better and goes smoothly

  • @AlicelnWonderIand Good tip:) x

  • Do they have color you could use to darken your brows? Mine are super light.

  • @mwcarebear1984 you can tint them or have tinting done in a salon

  • @mwcarebear1984 you could always dye them that color

  • @mwcarebear1984 Don't ever use box hair dye to darken your eyebrows. You need to use an eyebrow tint, most beauticians can do this for you but i'm sure you can find a place to buy it online and do it your self

  • @MonicaClipa26 it shouldnt be obvious...it should be subtle. And it definitely is. :)

  • @LisaFreemontStreet then whats the point? lol

  • @taylorhurst89 it's depends on how long you leave it on... she didn't want them to get too light, but of course someone who would want them lighter and more noticeable would leave it on longer

  • @taylorhurst89 the operative word being 'subtle'. If you have black hair and you go 2 shades lighter, you are likely to be the only one who notices the hair color change. Everyone, however, will notice the black eyebrows. If you lighten your brows two shades, you prevent the eyebrows from 'popping' out when people look at your face. :)

  • @LisaFreemontStreet thank you for explaining

  • excited to see how your hair turns out :))) hope it looks nice

  • @broadcastneo ^_^

  • I did bleach mine a couple of times but I stopped because although I never went crazy with it my friend and my sister told me they looked weird and orangy on natural light...

  • @imrana6 I think the trick is not to go too light, there's always a step just before the reddish stage! x

  • I too am going to go a bit lighter with my hair colour for summer but have always been afraid to bleach my eyebrows even though many times I have wanted to. This video has been so helpful Siobhan, thank you...I'll definately be giving this a go when the hair is done! :)

  • @IrishCol1only Don't be afraid to bleach your brows, you can always fill them in darker.

  • @sweetfuckingchrist I'd never thought of that until you said it ... I just always had this preconcieved notion that if they came out wrong they'd be yellow!! haha

  • @IrishCol1only ....Good grief..you must be Irish..I read that in the exact same accent as Siobhan...I can't help but do that ....especially with;

I'll definitely be giving this a go when the hair is dun..--

    Gotta luv it!~ ;D

  • @MercedesGames Wowyour spot on, I am indeed Irish, (Northern Ireland) and so as much as there are phrases typical to us irish and very similar our accents are totally different. Siobhan has a beautiful southern irish brogue whereas I live just across the border from the south of Ireland in County Down, I would speak more with a "twang" to my accent. I've prob not described it very well!! Not sure if Siobhan would agree with my desciption! :) Very perceptive of you though .. am impressed!! :D

  • @IrishCol1only Good luck Missus!!! Let me know how you get on!!

  • Luv this, its so cool ty xx

  • I do the same thing with hair dye. Years ago I dyed my hair black but it didn't look great because my eyebrows were far too pale, so the next time I did it I put some dye on with a cue tip, gently dabbed it onto my brows, brushed it in with a mascara brush and left it in for about seven minutes. The results were perfactly matching brows :D

  • @hakumeinaru Yeah, I've done the same with eyebrow tint before too ^_^

  • this is what i use on my brows, i give myself highlights with it too, works so well. in Canada it's $6 and goes a long way

  • @ctubeyea Where can I get it? I live in Canada, too. :)

  • @amyleroux1 I'm Canadian too and I can get it pretty well in any drugstore...it's easy to find and not too expensive (plus if you don't use a lot you can keep it for a long time).

  • @emmaperreault91 Cool, thank you! :)

  • @amyleroux1

I usually get it from Pharma Plus or shoppers drug mart

But this week Loblaws in Ontario had them on sale for three dollars so I bought a BUNCH!

  • @ctubeyea Thank you for replying, I've been wanting to lighten my eyebrows for a long time, I just didn't know where to get the right products. :)

  • Do you ever curl your hair? If you do, do you think you could do a tutorial for it? Thanks ^^

  • @urmomicous Oh no, I'm terrible at hair stuff, ha ha!!

  • It's a subtle difference but you can definitely tell.

  • @mdsnrey06 yeah, I don't want to go too light yet!

  • thanks for this i've been thinking of doing this but wouldn't know even where to start

  • @supafly100 Hope it helps! x

  • you do look irish :)

  • @meanieboyx3 Oh dear! Ha ha.

  • The brows look great! Now I wish I had this tutorial before I lighted my brows when my hair was platinum! I was pretty freaked out the first time. That is exactly the same brand that I used. :)

  • @sokolum79 I think it's an worldwide used product, everyone is saying that's the same one they use!!

  • YAY looks good ;)
