I own Jetstream 390 since summer 2007. It´s my 1st guitar I´ve bought without trying it. I don´t regret at all! It has really sweet clean sounds, similar to Strat, but it has its own identity (bigger & fatter than Strat).Bass contour works well. The best idea of all Rev. guitars is you don´t need to change anythnig!Rev. uses hi-quality HW, pickups sounds great too.I was suprised by really fat neck:) But it´s comfortable too.I dislike its weight(4kg).Great instrument in overall.
This setup is always a matter of personal taste, especially pick-up height. Having someone else set that for you is like asking them to adjust the seat in your car for you. Some things you just have to do for yourself. Expect any guitar you buy to need to be setup for you and your playing style e.g. string gauge, hard or soft picker, shredder, etc. A basic setup is easy to learn do or only $25 at the local shop.
im about to buy one of these. top guitar for its price, its gonna cost me $1000(AUD) and it sounds twice as good as an mexican telecaster($2000) .. brilliant :D
very bad sound!!!

My next guitar purchase will definitaly be a P90-equipped Reverend. I really dig these innovative designs.

Amazing tone!
I love Fender style. I've been playing Tex-Mex for a few years. I want something a little fatter, but less fat than a humbucker.
This sound is pretty much what I'm looking for, though I find it very brilliant.
Are those pickups Gibson ones?

i got a question... how does a 5-way pickup selector work with 2 humbucking pickups?

Positions 2 & 4 usually split the coils one way or another.

how's the setup on the 390?
how far are the strings from the actual body and pickups

Action was set low, I prefer higher action, so I changed it. I also changed strings (´10 -> ´11) Now I´m satisfied :)
NOTE: I´ve got Jetstream equipped with Wilkinson tremolo, Reverend changed it to T-O-M bridge (since 2008)!
