The bike driver is possible he exceeded the speed limit two or three times, but the van driver in all conditions of the road, he should yield the pass, why the motorbike driver has preference.
@sjtom57 your a fucking idiot he had the right of way... the van pulled in front of him ... he handled that shit well if anything he cood hav smacked rightinto the front of that van!!!! a bitch in a rape van pulls ifront of his so his bike is to much for him to handle???? wtf smh
@zeppelin67637 lol, i know. There is a much longer video of this here on youtube that shows the entire situation. the bike the just wrecked came from another curve where there is no way to see around/ahead enough to judge distance. All the bikes coming through this stretch of road are going WAY too fast. I dont think it was possible for the van to have seen him coming when it started its turn
@suicidesucks08 well, is there a slight chance that the biker was at least 2 times faster than the actuall speed limit? imagine if the biker wasnt speeding... nothing would happend.
if there is somebody to blame, than blame both, the driver of the van for being a retard, and the biker for being as retarded as the driver of the van.
and yes, i own a gsx-r 750, and if im speeing, its only MY FAULT if i crash
@DuellMeNoob That's true but in the end, if the driver of the van wasn't so stupid than i bet this wouldn't happen at all. So the cause was the van, not the motorcyclist. But be honest, almost all motorcyclists speed once right? Don't tell me that you always don't exceed the speed limit.
a car pulled in front of me like that and stopped taking up the whole lane and i highsided and totaled my bike. unfortunately i landed on concrete unlike this driver. a lot of driver's are idiots who dont pay attention because a car is much bigger than a bike
a car pulled in front of me like that and stopped taking up the whole lane and i highsided and totaled my bike. a lot of driver's are idiots who dont pay attention because a car is much bigger than a bike
@biketronic If he was driving at a remotely reasonable speed he could have avoided the accident. In fact the van would likely have passed safely in front of him. As I said it is not a single person at fault accident. The van didn't shoot in front of the bike without slowing. But if the biker were not driving WAY over the safe speed showing off instead of concentrating on driving there would have been no accident. You see a van with a blinker on and you get ready to stop.
Utter bullsh#t! this was completely the vans fault, driver was to busy looking at the guys with the camera, didnt even see the biker coming an turned directly into the bikes path, IDIOT!!!
i mean its bad driving on both parties because that was a poor error from the van by not judging the speed of the bike but then again if the biker was going at the correct speed he probably would have either stopped or stayed on the road at least.
There's a longer version of this video that shows what was really going on. This guy had made two or three EXTREMELY high speed passes for the benefit of the crowd in this parking lot - a parking lot, by the way, that was on a public highway and that was being entered and exited regularly by cars - and on this third or fourth pass a van that didn't realize that this lunatic was coming at Mach 2 tried to enter the parking lot. It wasn't the van's fault. It was the rider's.
My point I was making was ... if the bike was a speeding car, the van wouldn't have turned, he would've waited!
Small objects are harder to judge speed, than larger one's. If the bike was a speeding truck the van would've turned the opposite way! lol So take more precaution when you see a bike.
Yes the biker shouldn't be speeding, agree'd.
@pencid It's really not necessary to call people names, we don't know each other ... have some respect for people and the world will be a happier place!
@wursthunter make it more like if he had more skills he would have slowed down before and let the van the obviously doesn't notice him coming turn and avoid the whole incident

Wow, some of you people scare me. The biker isn't at fault. It doesn't matter how fast or slow he is going. The van is CROSSING his right of way. You all need to go retake Driver's Education.
@DarkFidelity i'm afraid the bike was at fault there. consider that the bike was clearly speeding. the van driver obviously checks the oncoming lane for traffic and seeing nothing, starts making his turn.... then he notices the bike (which doesn't give the van driver much warning because it is speeding) and stops, to let the bike past.... the biker can't make the turn because he's powering down the middle line of the road and has to do some avoidance, meaning he piles into the ditch.
@purklefluff actually it is the van's fault. even though what i'm about to say is really gay it would hold up in court. the van crossed over the solid line which isn't legal, even though he was a few feet (slash right next to) the dashed line. also if you are to make a turn you have to yield to oncoming traffic no matter how fast they are going (maybe he didn't see him at first, but the way the bend is the van should have been clearly able to see the bike) both are at fault
@DarkFidelity: Actually, you're wrong. We don't know enough about this road from the video to know who is at fault. If the speed limit is, say, 25 or 35 mph it's entirely possible that the bike came flying around a blind corner only after the van had started to make the turn; in that case it would be the bike's fault. It's also possible that the speed limit was 55 and the van had clear sightlines but still missed seeing the bike, in which case it's the van's fault. Just not enough info.
Wow, some of you people scare me. The biker isn't at fault. It doesn't matter how fast or slow he is going. The van is CROSSING his right of way. You all need to go retake Driver's Education.
i saw the whole video on this and im just going to say the van was not wrong the biker was at fault its a little hard for someone to judge the the turn and all when your on a bike going 100mph

@cbambam5 google this and read about it "inattentional blindness"
At the end of the day if the guy on the bike was speeding how could the other driver be expected to reasonable estimate the bikes speed.
He just wants to do a turn, he looks up and sees a bike way off in the distance, starts his turn and then the bike is there..in front of him and he says. "sorry mate didnt see ya.
Sorry. I am a ull time rider but have no sympathy for the rider in this clip. It was his fault.
@bjjahk rider should have slowed down but sometimes you don't forsee what the other road user will do. This is a dual fault case. The van driver is retarded for not being able to judge gaps and the rider is at fault for not reading the situation and slowing down to a descent speed due to the traffic.
That didn't even look like it was that much of a turn.. more like a curved straight (?). The Van just didn't bother to look more carefully before starting the turn...
DAMN home boy's skills saved his life there! I ride everyday rain or shine and when your ripping I totally agree its hard for people to see you. But that dudes got someone looking out for him cuz he woulda been toast if he took that van head on!
5* for the rider's ninja-like reactions in threading it between the van and the car - can't be as generous with his risk analysis skills though. Was he hurt when he hit the side of the planet? (looks in the vid like he threw a smoke bomb and disappeared - more ninja skills?)
@ivancristianCu - what, dead? - for real? Got the impression from some of the comments that it hadn't been a tragic accident. It was still near the top of my list of things not to do though.
@adrianvandermerwe....first of all bikes are fuckin hard to see on the road...especially when there going about 75 mph over the speed limit. the bike was probably about 150 meters away when the van started to make the turn. Its fucking imposssible to tell how far away/fast the bike was going. if the biker wasnt speeding this wudnt have happened.. because he wudv had enough time to stop or the van wouldv had enough time to complete the turn
@adrianvandermerwe I agree, BUT it is hard to gauge how fast a vehicle is going when aproaching , ecspecially a bike, the motorcycle was going too fast , obviously , the van thought he had enough room to turn , but did the right thing by stopping when he noticed the bike was traveling fast and aproaching faster than he should have. just my .02
@adrianvandermerwe Ten bucks says he started to go, the motorcycle came around a corner, hauling ass I might add, he stopped to try and not hit the guy and the guy did a great job of not hitting the van, but just ran out of room at that speed.
@adrianvandermerwe He may not have been able to judge the speed or could have simply made a mistake. However the motorcyclist is largely at fault. He was going way to fast showing off and otherwise could have easily stopped. This is by no meas a one persons fault accident. The van might get a ticket, but the motorcycle could be charged with driving to endanger at that speed.
@adrianvandermerwe I disagree. If the guy in the van is a fellow sport bike rider who rides fast then I would agree with you he should have been able to judge how fast the biker was going. But if the van driver always does the speed limit and has no idea what 90 or 100 mph feels or looks like then it would be hard for him to judge how soon the speeding motorcyclists would reach him. If you're going to speed keep in mind some people have no idea how fast a speeder can approach them.
Bike is going to fast and prob making a high speed pass-by so it's his fault. But I just cannot stand cagers like that. He most likely could see the biker and he should first stop and not push the bike to the outer part of the road. The ass made the left turn way to fast. Bet he said: I didn't see him till the last moment.
Most likely the cager saw the bike at a safe distance for him to turn assuming the bike was traveling at a normal speed. Looking at the people there he was most likely going faster than he should have and it's hard to gauge the speed of a smaller vehicle like a bike so that was probably entirely the fault of the biker.
@dddude55 Lol that's retarded. You should always look 2 times , or longer then a quick look, because you can't estimate speed with one quick look. And if you are still assuming those things in this world you haven't been out much. People still cross red lights, so you maby can assume that nobody will cross your way, but my advice is that you keep looking around.
Cool, I never once said it was a quick look. I said the bike looked like it was at a safe distance for the speed limit of the road, but that bike was obviously going faster than he should have and its tough to judge that.
my left leg was broke in 3 places and my right foot was fractured from an Oct 7th 2009 accident where a car was making a left turn infront of me.... but the difference is I was not speeding or showing off. to me unless the road was curved from the view of the van going fast or not... how can you NOT see a vehicle coming in your direction? the motorcycle would have gotten what they deserve to be going that fast with on coming traffic which is unpredictable. the van should also give right away
if you all havent seen the full vido of this, you should. This guy was flying up and down the same area back and forth, even with cars in the way. Its a busy area and not a good place to do this, esp with gravel on the shoulder of the road. A lot of people are saying its the van's fault, but the driver has no way to estimate the speed of a bike approaching from a distance, and people in general arent expected to be going 120 mph in a busy area. So, biker is an idiot in this case. I ride too
so what you are saying: if a mc is speeding, it is ok to run them over... if you cant juge how fast a oncomming mc/car are comming with. Then dont take the chance, and just wait. to wait for 20 sek, dont dill anybody...
dont be a fucking moron and put words in my mouth. I didnt say its ok to run anyone over regardless of speeding. I said that BOTH parties were at fault. The fact is, NO YOU CANNOT JUDGE how fast a motorcycle is traveling from a distance. Smaller objects are decieving on their speed from a distance. This driver didnt do it on purpose, Im saying that even if he saw the motorcycle a quarter mile down the road, he had no way to tell the rider was coming at 100+mph. He doesnt have a radar
Well, just read the firstline, tells me what kind of person you are, if you cant reply without name caling... Newer the less, here were i come from, the driver of the van will get to pay all. he was not paying enough attention to the oncomning lane, and made the mc to crash. Maybe the mc was speeding, i dont know, but what i can see, i dont think he was going 120 in the clip. speeding or not speeding, i still think the car is to be blamed for the crash.
my point is that it was horrible judgement on the rider because he KNEW that was a busy area, yet he still wanted to show off and have a disregard for cars/other riders on this road. My point is that the driver of the van is not to blame....this accident couldve been avoided if the biker chose a safer location to do flybys. And my final point to you......learn to comprehend what you read. You had a very poor explaination of my original post. I dont see how you can think I said its OK 2runover
with the video evidence...highly unlikely. You obviously havent seen that entire video. This just shows the crash part. There is a full video of this biker pulling out of that rest area, and flying up and down the same street splitting cars and everything.
I did think of the safety of others. It was not a public street. It was in front of my girlfriends aunts house on a private road, and we made sure there was no people around before I did it.
and by the way, I do ride wheelies sometimes, but not stupid with it. And if i ride like this twat was riding on the street and I crashed...I certainly wouldnt be complaining to the van driver.
Yeah...he WAS going 120 in the clip....at least well over 100....go find the full video and you will see why I have the opinion I do.
this biker KNOWINGLY continued to fly up and down this road when faced with medium traffic in a BUSY area, and is stupid....bottomline. If you refuse to see or believe that....you are blind or majorly bias. I ride the hell out of bikes dude, and Im an avid rider...I love it....but I dont defend dumbasses just because they ride too. If you ride like a twat....then you gotta be tough enough to get your twat stitched up when you fuck up....which is what the guy did.
no, a public road is a road that is paved by taxpayers money. This is a private community and the street was paved by them....not taxpayers. Its private property.
ok, then it is not the same as here in DK. I got a private road at my summerhouse, but it is still public as there is not a fence there. Will you please give a link to the full video?
I sent you a private message with the link since these motorcycle crashes channel keep deleting any links to another crash. I guess they just got jealous that this footage shows what really happened instead of their crappy 10 sec vid.
ouch!! Thats a little bit of everybody's fault there. The motorcycle shouldn't have been traveling so fast, and the van should have been watching more closely. Either way, hope the guy wasn't hurt too bad!
Utter bulls#@t this was completely the vans fault, driver was to busy lookin at the guys with the camera, didnt even see the bike coming an turned directly into the bikes path, idiot!

Its fucking imposssible to tell how far away/fast the bike was going. if the biker wasnt speeding this wudnt have happened.. because he wudv had enough time to stop or the van wouldv had enough time to complete the turn
MitchGeee 1 year ago
@MitchGeee
and add to that the distraction of the people there on that corner watching the bikes.
IMO that accident is one that the rider could have avoided.
bjjahk 1 year ago
@adrianvandermerwe I agree, BUT it is hard to gauge how fast a vehicle is going when aproaching , ecspecially a bike, the motorcycle was going too fast , obviously , the van thought he had enough room to turn , but did the right thing by stopping when he noticed the bike was traveling fast and aproaching faster than he should have. just my .02

@adrianvandermerwe damn you are an imbecil.. would the other van speeding at 70 mph?!..
pencid 1 year ago
@adrianvandermerwe Ten bucks says he started to go, the motorcycle came around a corner, hauling ass I might add, he stopped to try and not hit the guy and the guy did a great job of not hitting the van, but just ran out of room at that speed.
jeffuryca 1 year ago
@adrianvandermerwe He may not have been able to judge the speed or could have simply made a mistake. However the motorcyclist is largely at fault. He was going way to fast showing off and otherwise could have easily stopped. This is by no meas a one persons fault accident. The van might get a ticket, but the motorcycle could be charged with driving to endanger at that speed.
realityhack 1 year ago
@adrianvandermerwe Idiot shouldn't have turned in the face of an oncoming van!
Would he have turned if it was another bike? I don't think so!
Trollingwithmyhomies 10 months ago 2
@adrianvandermerwe I disagree. If the guy in the van is a fellow sport bike rider who rides fast then I would agree with you he should have been able to judge how fast the biker was going. But if the van driver always does the speed limit and has no idea what 90 or 100 mph feels or looks like then it would be hard for him to judge how soon the speeding motorcyclists would reach him. If you're going to speed keep in mind some people have no idea how fast a speeder can approach them.
ridemfast55 7 months ago
Bike is going to fast and prob making a high speed pass-by so it's his fault. But I just cannot stand cagers like that. He most likely could see the biker and he should first stop and not push the bike to the outer part of the road. The ass made the left turn way to fast. Bet he said: I didn't see him till the last moment.
DavidSlagter 2 years ago
Most likely the cager saw the bike at a safe distance for him to turn assuming the bike was traveling at a normal speed. Looking at the people there he was most likely going faster than he should have and it's hard to gauge the speed of a smaller vehicle like a bike so that was probably entirely the fault of the biker.
dddude55 2 years ago
@dddude55 Lol that's retarded. You should always look 2 times , or longer then a quick look, because you can't estimate speed with one quick look. And if you are still assuming those things in this world you haven't been out much. People still cross red lights, so you maby can assume that nobody will cross your way, but my advice is that you keep looking around.
DavidSlagter 2 years ago
Cool, I never once said it was a quick look. I said the bike looked like it was at a safe distance for the speed limit of the road, but that bike was obviously going faster than he should have and its tough to judge that.
dddude55 2 years ago
my left leg was broke in 3 places and my right foot was fractured from an Oct 7th 2009 accident where a car was making a left turn infront of me.... but the difference is I was not speeding or showing off. to me unless the road was curved from the view of the van going fast or not... how can you NOT see a vehicle coming in your direction? the motorcycle would have gotten what they deserve to be going that fast with on coming traffic which is unpredictable. the van should also give right away

that's some crazy shit. came close to the camera guy too

Looks like he was showing off :P
weldonvaughan18 2 years ago
if you all havent seen the full vido of this, you should. I ride too
yakitoriPB 2 years ago 3
so what you are saying: if a mc is speeding, it is ok to run them over... if you cant juge how fast a oncomming mc/car are comming with. Then dont take the chance, and just wait. to wait for 20 sek, dont dill anybody...
kaizerballing 2 years ago
dont be a fucking moron and put words in my mouth. He doesnt have a radar
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
Well, just read the firstline, tells me what kind of person you are, if you cant reply without name caling... Newer the less, here were i come from, the driver of the van will get to pay all. he was not paying enough attention to the oncomning lane, and made the mc to crash. Maybe the mc was speeding, i dont know, but what i can see, i dont think he was going 120 in the clip. speeding or not speeding, i still think the car is to be blamed for the crash.
And please keep a good tone ;)
kaizerballing 2 years ago
my point is that it was horrible judgement on the rider because he KNEW that was a busy area, yet he still wanted to show off and have a disregard for cars/other riders on this road. My point is that the driver of the van is not to blame....this accident couldve been avoided if the biker chose a safer location to do flybys. And my final point to you......learn to comprehend what you read. You had a very poor explaination of my original post. I dont see how you can think I said its OK 2runover
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
btw. nice of you to show a wheelie on a public road... not think of safty of others...
kaizerballing 2 years ago
with the video evidence...highly unlikely. You obviously havent seen that entire video. This just shows the crash part. There is a full video of this biker pulling out of that rest area, and flying up and down the same street splitting cars and everything.
I did think of the safety of others. It was not a public street. It was in front of my girlfriends aunts house on a private road, and we made sure there was no people around before I did it.
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
and by the way, I do ride wheelies sometimes, but not stupid with it. And if i ride like this twat was riding on the street and I crashed...I certainly wouldnt be complaining to the van driver.
Yeah...he WAS going 120 in the clip....at least well over 100....go find the full video and you will see why I have the opinion I do.
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
this biker KNOWINGLY continued to fly up and down this road when faced with medium traffic in a BUSY area, and is stupid....bottomline. If you refuse to see or believe that....you are blind or majorly bias. I ride the hell out of bikes dude, and Im an avid rider...I love it....but I dont defend dumbasses just because they ride too. If you ride like a twat....then you gotta be tough enough to get your twat stitched up when you fuck up....which is what the guy did.
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
ok, then give me a link to the full video, I look at it, maybe i change my mind.
but still, here is a road a public road unless there is a gate that that are closed and a fense around it.
kaizerballing 2 years ago
no, a public road is a road that is paved by taxpayers money. This is a private community and the street was paved by them....not taxpayers. Its private property.
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
ok, then it is not the same as here in DK. I got a private road at my summerhouse, but it is still public as there is not a fence there. Will you please give a link to the full video?

I sent you a private message with the link since these motorcycle crashes channel keep deleting any links to another crash. I guess they just got jealous that this footage shows what really happened instead of their crappy 10 sec vid.
yakitoriPB 2 years ago
ouch!! Thats a little bit of everybody's fault there. The motorcycle shouldn't have been traveling so fast, and the van should have been watching more closely. Either way, hope the guy wasn't hurt too bad!
Mtrhd0024 2 years ago
Damn! But still better than crashing into that van. By the way that guy was FLYING!!
hyunwoo2008 2 years ago 3
Yeah, for sure. It's hard to say how much damage was done, but I figure sliding through a ditch is better than hitting a stationary vehicle head on.
TheMotorcycleCrashes 2 years ago 10
yeah hopefully the bike didn't nail him when he was down there..
dextermoto 2 years ago
Utter bulls#@t this was completely the vans fault, driver was to busy lookin at the guys with the camera, didnt even see the bike coming an turned directly into the bikes path, idiot!

@TheMotorcycleCrashes hope somebody stopped the guy in the van ... at fault
