The 800Xl i think has Composite video output (the yellow RCA) you can connect direct on any TV,if you wan for VGA monitor just you need converter like vgabox .
Hello. Would it be possible for you to explain in detail how you connected the Horizontal Sync and the Vertical Sync to the GBS-8220 board? I'm trying to connect a CGA video source to one of these boards and having trouble with the sync part.
You mentioned using a cap and 2 resistors -- how exactly are they wired, and which pin do they go to on the GBS-8220?
I'm curios about the components on the H and V line, what was wrong with the Atari's original H-sync and V-sync signals?

Hi, isnt there a gadget where i can plug my 800xl into a vga lvd? That's cool what you've done, but i'm no tech wizard with wires :(

CGA signal is different to this..
try :combine H&V with 100ohm resistors in each line,and put it on (Signal) pin on the board.
