  • are you guys breeders? do you sell?

  • 110 for a German shepherd is way too much & it shows, his movements are heavy & slow, his hind quarters look weak & he is very unsteady. A GSD. is a working dog ( or should be) & 70 - 75 lbs is the ideal weight. I can't see this dog clearing a six foot fence.

  • @blacktimberw what a load of crap, they come in all different sizes depending on the individual and this dog is clearly not overweight, would hate to see how scrawny your animals are if you think hes too big!! i suppose you also think that the show shepherds are the ideal shepherd too!!

  • @bantheroachbreeders I prefer the working german shepherds from German lines, I don't suppose you are familiar with working dogs.

These giant shepherds are useless for anything other than wandering about in the back yard, big is not best in shepherd terms. I didn't say this GSD was overweight just too big, I don't imagine it will age very well either. This dog does not have a good mouvement & gait & it's teeth are on the small side.

You like these freaks, great .....I prefer proper GSD's.

  • @blacktimberw freaks.... please i had a what you call useless GSD sitting at 115 pounds old fashioned straight back and has won 2 schutzhund titles, now i have his grandson sitting at 85 pounds at 9 months old looking like a very proactive dog. If you loved any german shepherd you would know better then talk shit about subject you know very little about. Original GSD lines were large straight back sitting at 90-120 pounds. Even though mostly calm and lazy they had the ability to strike quickly.

  • @MaciMKD German shapherds are supposed to be working dogs, active, mobile with high prey drive, the ideal wieght for a working dog is around 75 lbs.......

GSD's have been so modified now both for the showring & by the concept that big is better, it is extremely hard to find usable working dogs in the USA.. The german working lines have worked hard to bring the GSD to what it should be, a medium sized, medium boned energetic athelete.

I suggest you read up on the origins of the GSD,

  • think russian ovcharka but much faster and more balanced when you see big GSD like this one.

  • man this very nice lookin german shepherd ! well groomed n well tookin care of, made me kinda teary, never saw my dog grow up :(

  • such a beautiful breed ♥

  • I WANT 1

  • he looks so sweet! what a good nature he has you cannot beat that combo in an long coat gsd !! my pretty lola has the same gentle nature and sweet expression, unless youre a stranger and get too close to me! such a protective friend how lucky we are to have this breed in our lives!

  • I would like to have one of those dogs but I'm afraid to find one that is NOT hind legs hunched almost dragging. That is not normanl for all the dogs I've seen in the world. These dogs were breed with some kind of disordered and mated with the same kind but one of them probably had a disease disorder long time agago. I know this cause their are pictures and vids on this YouTube. The Old Fashion German Shepherd, now that kind of dog I'm looking for. But with a different color pattern.

  • I have a sable gsd too...about the same age. Mine has the mask though (check my vid)

  • Very nice dog! I hate the german breeders trend to make show-dogs without any color variety. Sorry for my English!

  • make more videos of him!

  • He's beautiful!

  • Lovely boy, with a nice clean level topline.. just how GSD's should be... reminds me of my grandads old GSD she looked alot like him but she was alot smaller, he seems to have a very loving and sweet temperament aswell, do you workin any of your dogs in Obedience or Schutzhund, look like they'd be good workers.

    regards
