It needs some boost on the eq to match lighter style guitars like a tele. It's voiced to go from 1-8 where a tele or strat, or Les Paul, goes from 3-10 on a 1-10 eq scale. So you need an amp that will give you a good high end boost. Beautiful guitar, though. I won't be getting rid of mine. Ever.
@malcala03 . Don`t hesitate to buy this guitar. It`s just amazing for the value. And don`t worry about the resale value, cause you will not sell it...ever:) I have this guitar and it`s going nowhere. Actually, I don`t take it to my "fun band" gigs, cause I`m afraid it will get damaged for some reason (drunken people, read me):) This guitar just feels and sounds like I`m playing a 1500$ axe. Love it!

Nice guitar and good playing. I am thinking about buying that same guitar used with the same color. How long have you had it? Are you happy with it? I am just a little leary of buying a Michael Kelly because of resale value locally. Alot of people don't know the name.
