There's an arcade cabinet just like this at a laser tag center near my home. It's just not a cocktail machine, but it has all the same games on it and the same menu. What is all that anyway?
Also Gamester, awhile back I built a 48in1 cabinet for a friend, and if I remember right like you stated there is no exit button. But I am almost sure that after the game had ended (all lives gone) the system automatically exited back to the selection menu. I hope this helps you because restarting the thing every time would be a pain. Please update if this workspossible
@Gamester81 Help!!! Could you tell me what to do when ours (SAME!!!) says Service? We have held the reset button when off, on, off and on quickly,.....any help? The guy who sold it to us wants $80 just to come out!!!! I am not working and would appreciate ANY help you could give.
that button you said brings up a "game genie" type interface is actually the test button which in the case of this board allows you to change virtual dip switches that would have been available on the original game (these where the actual available options on the games, not hacks like game genie). And of course the board has its own available options, like free play, volume etc.
@Corad4 Gaplus is the original name. in the U.S. Midway had the distribution rights to it. After putting out a short run of "Gaplus" cabinets, Midway changed the name to Galaga 3. Aladdin's Castles that had Gaplus (at the time owned by Bally / Midway) Got new marquees and ROMs to convert their Gaplus's to Galaga 3.
Arcades are fun to build- I am currently building one on my channel- Let me know when you start your build or if you post any videos on it- I'd love to see them.
and its worth it? for $450 dollars I can get all the games on console systems + the systems and I dont get that annoying sound ur machine has thats louder then a vacuum, cleaner
Not rare at all, these have bad sound. :(
Gosh, that monitor needs a degaussing!
The "Game Genie" is just the dipswitch settings, every arcade game has that.

I love arcades, but I think I rather build one myself. (but as far as cocktails go, I rather buy one)
I think I'm gonna build a bartop arcade, just cause I don't really have place to put a standup arcade...

As good as MAME can be for all-in-one type of thing, it will NEVER replace how good an arcade machine feels while playing a true arcade game.

Well said. I try to find arcade games like this in movie theatres. Was able to find an original Ms. Pac-Man cab the other day at a Cinemark.
PearlJammer07 2 years ago
Pretty cool but I will stick with MAME32.
