Fairplay man thats a beast!! IVe wanted to catch a beast of a perch since a lad at the Starlets had one in a match I was fishing of 4lb 11oz at Stourport Basin-this was about 16 years ago! Has been my bogey species tho! lol! I take it livies will outperform lobs on most days? Sam had a 1lb 4oz perch on a massive roach livie at the fens last year-massive gobs!! Well done mate cracking fish that is!
Wel weve had the bigger fish on lobs but livies are definately more selective so its worth trying both. Theres loads of gudgeon in there so baits are easy to catch. Stourport basin is that on the severn? Tightlines
