First, the cops film themselves for suspect AND police misconduct. Your filming is
Only for your agenda (that's been proven in other cb videos). I love how you whine about the jail conditions. It's not a resort you idiot, it supposed to be unpleasant. Dont commit crimes if you don't want to go to jail and spend your friends money bailing out. You bait cops and then cry wolf when they react, they're humans too, they have emotions.
@adiostraitorobama I appreciate the civil discussion, many people would have said "you're a %!*@%ing idiot" and left it at that. And, I hope you DO go into law enforcement, and maybe improve the status quo.
@adiostraitorobama I acknwoledge that you hate policing & sincerely respect your right to do it. My feelings - however contrary, do not make me so naive as to say every cop is good, but would not bait one to find out.
As for freedom, I was born on an AirForce base and lived abroad until I found my father dead for your "freedom". You have no idea.
@adiostraitorobama I believe certain things e.g. pot, prostitution & gambling, are moral choices and should NOT be governed. If they were legal police would have much more time to do 'real" things (& the jail pop. wouldn't be so much of a problem). I personaly do not agree with some of those choices, but right now it IS the law & if you are an inforcer of the law, looking the other way can spiral out of control with serious consequences & the more you do something, the easier it gets.
@adiostraitorobama You make it sound like they wait around all day, eager to use their guns.
I'm still waiting for some answers from these law abiding photographers... What's with the ammo? Why was your friend in jail? If you spend all your time filming, how do you support yourself? What happened that put so much hate in you that you feel like you need to do this? If someone robbed you at knife-point, who would you call? .... just wondering....
@adiostraitorobama It's not the monitoring I find so objectionable, it's the one-sided preconceived need to provoke a wrong-doing. Where is the whole picture? If you are going to follow them around all day, will all the fotage be there? Or just the juicy bad stuff?
No matter what profession, I can't imagine being filmed all day just to catch the worst in me. Dr.s make life threatening mistakes all the time, do we follow them around? How about Teachers? Lawyers? Nurses? Pilots? Bankers? Miners? Mechanics? ..... I feel negative "Stories" make people passive, generalize, & hate. Whereas showing the good inspires pride, makes people feel good. No, not every cop is good, but I'm sure not all of them are bad. btw: what was their friend in jail for?
hmm you walk up to a police officer with a shirt that basically says "cop's suck", you film them hoping to get them to do something wrong, then you wonder why they are suspicious of you (we won't even go into the ammo you failed to explain). Why not film them when they have to perform CPR on someone until an ambulance arrives. Or be the first ones to find the dead bloated body of an elderly person (it's not a pretty sight).
Alot of the gfld police suck the old older ones r better n in 2007 i had a arrest at midnite n Todd Dodge was treating me like a ginea pig teachn another fellow officer or tryn to different things then they wrote a big article about Greenfield Woman going on a smoke ride!!!! also they gave me 2 sobreity tests it was bull shit. That night dealt with 4 different officers n all treated me like total shit. Sucks that do wht they want n try to get aqway with it!!!!!! Gud Luck to all who deal with em
Listen to all the slaves on here protecting and defending their masters. I hate fucking slaves almost as much as their sick, dimented over-lords.
Great job, guys. Your work is vital to returning this country to the land of the free. Please do some research on the sovereign movement, which is being attacked by the likes of the SPLC as a "hate" group and associated with neo-nazis, etc., without provocation. This is what they do to demonize people who love their rights and their sovereignty.
Not to mention, it was only 4 degrees out that night, and the trooper ended up in the hospital with hypothermia. Lets not forgot about the countless number of police officers, state troopers, and deputies that have risked there life running into burning buildings, jumping in freezing water or a burning vehicle. There are a lot more of those, but you are taking the focus off of all of them!
@rOCKcLIMBER2011 you know, your taking the focus off of regular citizens in situations you describe do the same thing. All that badge does is give the swingin dik a big head. And in today's economy and UNREST they're scrambling for any petty revenue they can get!!!
Those comments here that worship the police and worship the government... geez, what drugs are you guys on? In this video, Pete catalogs volumes of rights violations, yet morons find fault with Pete for trying to defend YOUR rights. Why is abuse from police so tolerated? The police are predominantly ANTI-AMERICAN, so why should good Americans like Pete be told to "move to another country"?? Brain dead idiots. The result of public skools.

MA is a two party consent state. If both of you don't agree to being recorded it's not legal. Does that apply when you want to record others? Even the police?
Hey Pete and Adam, if you don't like the police, move to fuckin Somalia. I'm sure you would love it there. See how long you would last without police. Go spend a year there where there is no functioning government, then come back and bitch about the police.
Hey dude if you love police trampling on your rights and kidnapping you so much why don't you move to China or North Korea?? You'd probably love it there......and I bet you'd really like what they'd do to you with their batons when you're being strip searched.
That is just ridiculous. Yes, there are probably a few cops out there that shouldn't be cops. But you aren't going to find a perfect agency anywhere. Your soul purpose is to go out and find minor things that cops are doing that you think is unconstitutional. In my local area just two months ago, a girl crashed her car into a large river. A state trooper was the first on scene. Without hesitation he threw off his gun belt and jumped in, and saved the 17 yr old's life. Do a story on that!
that's really too bad man....i'm finishing my criminial justice major here soon and i'll be joining the police academy next year. i've wanted to be a cop for as long as i can remember and one of the main reasons i want to do it is to bring a fraction of good faith back to the criminal justice system. the way i see it, if i'm an officer, that's one less dick cop on the streets right? anyway good luck to you guys in everything you do and keep standing up for what you believe in.
Fuck Greenfield Police... you can run and tell that home boy Addison D. RICKETTS former greenfield resident... they all crooked as fuck ALLL OF THEM... dont even trip... only straight cop in Greenfield is Kratts
I am glad that I am not a policeman or ever had been one becase of all the innocent people put in jail that is now out and all the drug arrests that are out and all the brutality that the police have committed & hurt many other people by lying and putting them in jail there must be millions of very angry people when shit hits the fan they will hunt police down like a dog with rabies and cut his head off and put it a pole police and armed and retarded they R cowards
The GPD are a prime example of inept small town pigs who enforce beyond reasonable limits!!! Inept is NOT low enough of a description for these goons!!!
FAIR OR UNFAIR While thousands were being sued the FBI and the RIAA ignored the following RECORDED conversation A NC high ranking police officer discussing downloading music He named the name Kazaa and talked about how songs were arranged in groups you choose & click & get songs He said it was the thing to do everybody was doing it He bet his daughters had downloaded a thousand songs on his computer He laughed and said he hoped the federal government did not come in and investigate him
what is wire tapping?? if its with a video cam they got all that wrong, I think the people have a right to film the police local/county and state.. regardless, its for protection of the people not the police.. many police officers will do anything to hurt someone!
...the matter (in this particular case) of whether the vehicle search was justified.
These legal issues are important... but even if something is shown in court to be "proper" according to government rules -- those propriety of those rules can still be battled in the court of public opinion.
I've been trying to publicize this case as much as possible to media outlets.
I think some commentors may be missing some points here.
A lot of this has to do with the attitudes of government officials. They act as if they were parental types lording over a bunch of cattle, rather than public servants employed by free people.
There are some narrow legal issues here. Did they arbitrarily forbid filming off the top of their heads -- and is this improper? Even if it was a written policy, it could still be challenged as improper. There is also the matter... [continued]
Further evidence that you are in over your heads in terms of your understanding of the law is how you cited the signs on the wall and what some pamphlet said or did not say about recording devices. That doesn't matter once you have been told not to record.
That is like saying that someone cannot verbally tell you to leave their property if they have not posted a no trespassing sign. Of course, sign or no sign, they can tell you to leave and then you must leave or you will be trespassing.
@gillianorley you seem to not realize that police officers lie about the law all the time, and in many cases dont know the law. i do not have to do what a police officer tells me to do as long as my actions are justified by my rights. police officers to not have the authority to strip me of my rights through verbal commands.
@jasonkops problem is people think they have rights they really don't have. And disobeying an officer's orders will get you a ticket to a theatre where they don't like people who think they have rights they don't have. But you have fun. Hope you sit with Bubba, I hear he's friendly :D
@sirbuick your rhetoric is vague. you seem to think that a police officer can simply 'order' my rights away. i know what my rights are, and police in many instances dont care. police abuse is rampant and needs to be addressed system wide. if you have no problem kowtowing to the police, who will protect and serve the hell out of you, thats your deal. i know my rights, and if they are violated i have lawyers. you can make all the rape jokes you want, but i have bail money and a bondsmen.
You guys are in serious need of legal counsel. Not only for your pending charges, but to advise you as to what you can and cannot do legally.
I sympathize with you, but if you are in a government building and they tell you not to record, that's it.
Just because it's government property doesn't mean it is somehow "communal." They can exclude you from the premises and set rules for on the premises like any other property owner. A government can be a property owner and control its property.
WOW I hope you guys have an attorney cause this is your usual BS the cops pull. Detaining you w/o charges and then trumping them up, violating Miranda, not letting you make your phone call. Total BS, I'm glad you guys refused to stop filming, sucks you lost your camera and had to deal w/ it all, but luckily you guys know what you're doing. Keep it up!
Trumped up bogus charges. The Police seem to have committed all the crimes. People need to get a better understanding of Law and how Courts work. You should definitely charge the Police with false arrest, assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, denial of basic human rights, vandalism, theft of property, unlawful mischief, obstruction of justice ect. The Police know how the courts work and use it to their advantage because they know more than you. Knowledge is power.
@NoLongerFooled Yeah we left NH and kicked off Liberty On Tour on Aug 4th in NYC. Our arrests in Greenfield happened on July 1st - this two-video update was shot after our arraignment.
