They take long to die because big cats (even lions) "DO NOT" go for the throat to kill their prey, regardless what these narrators tell us. They bite gently enough only to render their prey "UNCONCIOUS". Some of them wake up to being eaten alive but of course ppl playing on our sympathy dont want us to know that part. In several other video clips on YouTube some of you may have seen ..the prey got up after we had already presumed it dead then it ran away while its mother fought off the big cat
@anaclet You have to realize that this is part of nature. All living things need to eat, and Cheetahs are carnivores. They do it because they have to, not because they want too. Are they doing wrong because they want to eat? I realize that this can bother some people which is a normal instinct, but remember, this is nature!
The Documentary you have seen is mostly fake it was not filmed until there were only two. The snake bite sequence is fake nobody has any idea of the cause of death. We were amongst the last people to see all three together on 26th June 2005.
Our fim is real.
By the way none of them were given names by anybody, they were known to regular viewers as the "Boys", there is currently just one left or that was the case in September 2008.
oh sorry mate wrong clip then its just i watched a documentary last nite about how 3 cheetah brothers survived and looked after them selves that was called cheetah blood brothers sorry i got confused
No this is our video of the Three Brothers, the one you saw on TV was made when there were only two alive although they were two of the three seen in our video. The documentary used a lot of fake footage and was basically a made up story. This is all to common in wildlife filmaking. You were not confused the filmakers just deceived you!
omg u are so right! i watched it and it looked liek their had copied and pastd the cheetahs onto another background!! also, the cheetahs looked computerized .i did not expect that fron national geographic
Not filmed until the brother's death didn't necessarily mean the over-all story was "mostly fake." In documentaries -- months to years of filming, of different scenes, individuals, activitie being cut into a 80-120 minute show --- it's a GIVEN that editors JUXTAPOSE a lot of unrelated footage creatively: objective is to tell a continuous & coherent story, not that every shot pieced together had to be of the same animals. It's the researched, BROADER behaviors of the animals that count...
its good to see male cheetahs together, knowing that they made it to adulthood cause so many of them are killed in the first few months from birth by lions and hyenas.
Seems like you're making to much noise, shining lights, and interfering with their ability to live a natural existence. Cheetahs are awesome! Humans on the other hand, that's another issue all together.

@crossskulled Then, why watch it? It's normal for this type of thing to bother some people, but it is a part of nature.

i suppose it is a question of maturity if one cannnot shut the fuck up when filming nature. Why the need to make inane comments ?

Yes it is a shame that you have to put up with ignorant tourists on the same vehicle, I bet you can guess the nationality.

Further to my comments the joining of a "new" third cheetah is also fake, this did not happen. They used old film to fake these scenes

i heard that domesticated cheetah is fed by fresh blood from cow. A huge herd of cow can contribute enough blood for cheetah to live. is it true?
