As I heard it stops ebola from creating a certain chemical that blocks white blood cells from being able to fight it.

@Oxstayne There's no urgency. 11 cases since 2008. It is a very accute virus but due to this it is very confined. World population rising is a concern meaning that the virus could be more easily spread throughout infection location. Ebola is very easily confined to a quarrantine area. It is not easily spread, so shutting down borders is an effective way to stop it. If there are no victims then the virus can not survive, apes in contact with the dead are the biggest threat to spreading the virus.

Ebola is a very dangerous virus, yes. but the good thinga bout it is that all the strains incubation period is extremely short and the sysmptoms are extremely noticeable. because of this, the virus can never "end the world" if transported via scientific equipment and injected into a large population, a city or 2 can be wiped out, but thats all. also ebola can only be contracted through direct contact, bodily secretions.
