  • YMO were huge Beatles fans. Not sure if they knew Paul McCartney in their heyday (more than likely know one-another by now) but there's the cover of Day Tripper on Solid State Survivor, their recent excellent live versions of Hello, Goodbye and a reference to McCartney and his solo record "Coming Up" during "Nice Age".

With that being said, this is one of the most creative - and definitely one of the best - Beatles covers I've heard. Takahashi's vocals on the studio version are pure chill. :P

  • Long live Ymo!!!

  • 6 people just hates asian musicians

and are jealous of their talents

  • ユキヒロさんは

    本当にウラのとり方が上手い

    普通はひっくりかえるよね

    ジャストなリズムと相まって

    凄いとしかいいようがない

  • atleast a son of lennon likes him and the band

  • You gotta love how they give aneurysms to the Lennon fans...

  • このドラムパータン叩きながら普通に歌ってるユキヒロは神!!

  • we all know the Beatles is cool, and all their original versions RULE... but let's not jump off a cliff here, or something. it's all justa song, after all... so let's chill...

    @fuppizachit you're a dumb fascist ...peace ..

  • Finaly I hear a proper version of this song.

  • ?

    This is the original?!

Yoko Ono heard this version in Tokyo.

Sung it then later to John.

    100% fact´s

    ;)

  • Lennon would probably have done something with them actually. Do a search for YMO and Ryuichi Sakamoto to find out more about them. Check out Ryuichi Sakamoto on imdb.
