Best engine out there! Noise wise, the RR's wine really bad, you can hear it on my Singapre take-off vid, SIN-CMB, it is nasty!

I have to say though, RR and Airbus go well together, especially on the A345! :D

Yes I would have to agree! Personally I think the best match is between the 777 GE and the A380 Engine Alliance!

I prefer the RR Trents to be honest, it's distintive, even if they sound abit like a chainsaw post-rotation with that grinding sound.

I agree it is very distinctive! When I am in London and on my roof you can always tell when there is a BA 777 on its way!
