I am blown away by the depth of her vocals , it has such a beautiful and rich tone. It may not be Dolly singing but Alexis really delivered the same heart and soul the song was written about. Its a beautiful rendition.
I FIND IT THAT SHE SANG THE SONG FROM THE DEEP INSIDE OF HEART. Its great. The jedges didn't save her just because of they didn't like how she talked back them may be. But she was great. Support from ASIA. Congradulation Alexis .
So, I enjoyed Alexis vocals. However, viewers compared her performance of Jolene, to the Brooke White Version! ?I have to admit, the studio version of this song is better than the actual performance she gave on Idol. I still Think Brooke White Outsang her on this song... But If she would have sang this song like the Studio version she could have lasted longer than Horrid megan joy
Just watching AI out here(NZ) and keep hoping they'll do something to improve, anything to make it okay that they let Alexis go--she was the star of the show.

That was, well a freaking great song. I've never heard it before, but she did great.And I have not the faintest idea about how she was voted off after a preformance like that. Dirty Diana was a good preformance, but not as good as Jolene. SHe could have made it far, and hopfully will get picked up somewhere.

i agree. i havent heard of this song from dolly. but i fell in love with this song. and alexis did a really great job of singing this one.
judging from the contestants, i think a guy will win this round. although alexis is still one of my favorites.
