@Marinesofairsoft1121 okay, i thought so...but it's just the products...there's no proof that sparkling water, and apple juice...ect..are American, they only used American products because they're in America, obviously.
@Marinesofairsoft1121 Yes, the brands are, but not the actually drink...Europeans where drinking apple juice before our country was even founded...it's just the corporate name is American.
@Marinesofairsoft1121 There wasn't any Dr. Pepper in the video, there was coke though, and everybody knows that is American and the brand never changes in any country. I'm not sure if root beer is American, but i know Birch Beer is Pennsylvanian Dutch (aka Deutsch-German, not actually Dutch) and the Root beer float was founded in Philadelphia though.
@DenEldenKrieg Afaik Fanta was a german local branch of the coca cola corporation that was selling only in germany in the 1940s. It came to the US during the 50s. And I think Sprite was just the lemon version of Fanta originally. I think Mezzo Mix (which is coke + Fanta = Spezi) is extremely big in germany. But coca cola only sells it in germany and austria afaik. Also Lift Apfelschorle is made by Coca Cola, so they are good at making some cash out of regional drinks... but belong to coca cola
@tla123456 its not the same !!1 absolutely not ;-) but rootbeer is tasting as great as malzbier !1 i drunk the original rootbeer on an the base in baumholder *mjamm*
Hey Alex, you should introduce Jim to KiBa as well. That's banana juice and cherry juice, but not mixed up. You take a glass, put in banana juice first and then poor in cherry juice very slowly. It gives a neat pattern, is therefore nice to watch and it tastes awesome.
In Emsland (a small part of Germany) we say "Spezi" and mean Coke with Schnapps (Hard Liquor) :) And yes, the German Fanta looks more yellowish :) but it's also a great show!
The Fanta probably tastes different in Germany than in US because in the US they use corn syrup, and in Germany, I'm guessing they use natural sugar. It's the same for soft drinks as well. Coca Cola tastes better in Europe than in the US as well, for the same reason.
@Bart1893 ja naja, hauptsache is doch das er nen pils genommen hat. weil nen weizen mischt man ja wohl nicht....wenn ich schon an sowas wie "bananenweizen" denke
@lonelycompany It ist because Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta are very popular in Germany, but of course you can make your Radler with any 'Zitronenlimonade' or your Spezi with any 'Orangenlimonade' or Afri-Cola as well. The first Origins of any Limonade are in Europe, so even Coke or Sprie are not really american ingredients
Radler is beer with lemon not with sprite!!! And only the 12-16 year olds drink that, a real german drinks no radler or when he does than only for flushing jaegermeister down!!!
@LuckSkyStar I suppose the way it's pronounced in English does make it sound more German... Our language has a little too many sounds that don't exist in others.
the orange Fanta in Barcelona is flippin amazing the one in germany is really good too lol omg I'm american and i HATE root bear. But in jamaica there's a drink called Apple J which is basically...apple soda but it's amazingggg. I've never seen it here in the states and no one ever knows what im talking about, only other Jamaicans.
"In America I guess were not as creative as yall..." I'm American, and ever since I was little, my and my brother would make very odd combinations of soda... But hey, this video is true, most the people I know would flip if they heard of half the things said in this video.. XD Thanks for the post! (I LOVE germany and really want to visit one day X3)

We have something called sparkling cider in America. It comes in what looks like a wine bottle and it's essentially sparkling water and apple juice mixed.
anyone who hates rootbeer but pours soda into a real german beer( OK YOU USED DUTCH BEER), has taste buds removed, sorry, keep the show's a coming. And root beer can have booze in it!
The European Fanta is more original! It has orange juice and cane or beet sugar, but the American Fanta hasn't. The American Fanta has much of fructose corn sirup in it. And the American has some flavor enhancer, ehich are banned in European countries because these substance could be bad for your healthy.
Ah i looked for a answer and i founded: Fanta is a german drink. The FAnta drink are produced in many countries. Many countries produce their fanta self. So they can pruced fanta different.
Oh my, root beer is my favorite soda. Wintergreen is a common ingredient in root beer, so I definitely understand where you could taste mouth wash. Also, I've always thought cream soda tastes like cotton candy.

Jim Beam is my drink! The first Jim Beam distillery was founded by an german. But its an US-american Whiskey factory and its just awesome! I love that!
I live in Sweden, after watching this i went and bought a Rootbeer with a big American flag on it in a American-Swedish store in malmö. It tasted horrible, exactly as the German said about mouthwash. a can cost me 3$ (20kr). waste of money. I rather drink what the German shows in this video.
I've noticed they only have ORANGE Fanta here in Germany. I'm used to getting grape flavored and more in the USA.
Root beer is flavored with Birch Bark or Sassafrass. It's kind of spicy (like a sweet "krauter").
The strangest thing I've seen here (from Day ONE, was beer with LEMONADE. It's not too bad, but sounded strange to me. The worst was like a cherry-cola with beer. Had it at Oktoberfest. Won't have it again.
American beer is the first attempt to dilute water with success!

Some of the local restaurants have a WHOLE BUNCH of mixed drinks made with Red Bull. Seriously. Haven't tried them...probably won't.

I love Apfelschorle, I didn't know that it was a popular drink in Germany, it's a lot better than flavored soda
