Yup, my MA in Political Science ended up having me read a ton outside the classroom. Out of the 111 Registered Oregon voters it UofO, 2 are Republicans. Funny how so many people are allowed to persist in their ignorance without balanced education.
Lets all keep in mind that Obama voted against Roberts, who is a class act compared to Sotomayor. Roberts would never have dreamed of uttering the racist drivel she has or he'd have been canned. Racism is evil, thus Sotomayor must be stopped.
Her record indicates she, like Obama, is more interested about who is in the "right groups" than old outdated concepts such as the impartial rule of law.
God help us law students caught in the modern institution who wish to maintain our integrity of the law in the face of such powerful political corruption.
Conservatives will be flashy with criticism to satisfy their base but in the end the mushrooming hispanic vote has long been established as too important to risk alienation.
And you libs continue to propound identity politiics, its about race ethinciity, religion or whatever, you cannot judge on character, experience or other critical factors, she sees the bench as a place for legislative power. Our founding fathers WARNED us of demagoguery like this, Obama and her henchwoman Sotomayor are the people this country CANNOT afford to have in power. Our country is losing all integrity the longer these suckers and their failed socialist policies remain.
