It would be in the best interest for human kind to abandon this fixation with these worthless celebrities. Granted there is a certain "zoo affect" when watching award shows etc, but each generation is progressively being brainwashed into thinking they will someday be like these people. A level of indoctrination also exists in perpetuating the myth that most of these celebrities "deserve" their success, especially when they rose to their status on blow-jobs, nepotism, & groveling.
