Hey this is great! But ok if I whant to jailbreak and then I don't whant to I know I sync backup my iPod, but if I whant to erase Cydia and the. Jailbreak, would i have to restore my iPod? And that would erase all my apps? But I did backup please MSG back.
@xxn00berxx yeah the best thing to do if you want to get rid of your jailbreak is if you have backed up then do a restore and after your device is formatted meaning everything gets erased you have the option to use your backup to put everything back. Depending if your on ipod touch or iphone I would hold shift then press restore using the 4.0 software instead of apples 4.0.1, but I dont think that would have an effect if you wanted to re-jailbreak.
@benigno4610 The userland jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, 3G on iOS 4 / 4.0.1, iPod touch on iOS 4, and iPad on iOS 3.2.1..so yes I would guess so
@abningenieroo I guess your gonna have to keep trying....I tried at least 6 times before I got it to start downloading....are you trying the regular site jailbreakme . com?
@MrHJPlayer Only thing is voiding apple warranty but really you can just restore if anything goes wrong and your iphone is back to normal. So the risks of jailbreaking can include and this is really going beyond the norm...looping bootscreen which could happen but thats rare. So by all means jailbreak because its a great way to customize your iphone and its a lot of fun! If you have any issues just do a regular restore and your back to normal :)
Hi Guru..
