The screams of the crowd the very second Weller starts to sing still get the hairs on my neck standing everytime.

Is it just me, or is his voice nowadays just not suited to singing Jam stuff? He seems to have gotten more soulful, losing that 'Engerlish wide boy yobbo' type voice. Watch the version of this song with Noel Gallagher to see what I mean.

At the time of Paul Weller Movement, rghtly so. He wanted to do what he imagined the Small Faces what do in the present. No hits though, from that time, but a string of great concerts. Next phase and next good song was "Sunflower".

The bass player here is a twat, obviously; Paul should have taken him aside before.
