  • I really don't know why I am writing that, I really agree 100% in mocking fundies (islamics, christians, jews .. no matter) but to be fair i would call the video Mock the creationists.

I am of course an atheist, but i have to say that (at least here in europe) there's a lot of christians that doesn't believe the bible literally ... i know that the virgin birth is enough but creationists are a separeted species, mocked also by the christians that i know.

  • I think it might have been a wise thing to have sharpened the title down to fundies or creationists or the like. While I am not a theist, I understand theism to have a much broader sense than a strict literal interpretation of biblical texts.

Other than that, I very much agree.

  • "they don't deserve your patience, tolerance or polite respect. In other circumstances they'd happily torture and kill you to please their god, if some "spiritual leader" suggested it would be OK."

Couldn't agree with you more. 5*s!

  • I can't stand some of their arguments and dishonesty, but I try to give them respect anyway.

For me, being civil allows for a longer conversation and more chances to own them. :3

  • Yeesh. There's this thing called tolerance...

  • Yep. And there's this thing called appeasement. Would you have "tolerated" Hitler's ideology?

Every time we are tolerant with people who are essentially intolerant, humanity ends up losing.

I think we should stop tolerating blatant nonsense, and we should challenge the idea that people who like to pretend they believe blatant nonsense are somehow superior to rational people.

So you're MacMillan, baby, and I'm Churchill.

    Ohhhh Yesss.

  • @Oceanus57 I think you mean 'Chamberlain', Spuermac was actually famous for being very critical of appeasing Hitler.

  • @Oceanus57 I think you mean 'Chamberlain', Supermac was famous for being very critical of appeasing Hitler. ;)

  • Tolerance of stupid ideas simply because they're ideas is idiotic.

A person has a right to their beliefs, but not to their beliefs being automatically respected. Especially not if they're unrespectable.

  • Bill Hicks is God, he died for our sins.

  • he, funny. I never understood why they simply dont just say "god made evolution". i mean I know they're holding on for dear life "genesis" but strategicly it'd be more sound to place an all powerful being behind somthing thats been proven true

  • This video is so true LOL

  • What comedian is this in this video?

  • The very brilliant and sadly now dead Bill Hicks.

  • I hate the idea of death... it scares me! :'( I DONT WANT TO DIE! Sadly my time is drawing near... IN 100 YEARS EVERYONE ON THE PLANET WILL BE DEAD BUT THERE WILL STILL BE LIFE! DEATH IS GAME OVER! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Hey Trianglechoke96 - Have you noticed?

    I'm mocking you.

It's what you need, cos your chris-chin worldview is a poisonous agent of retardation to human progress.

Bye now, and may your god go with you.

  • Nah, I'll leave that to you chris-chin warriors, killing for Jesus whenever you find it to be a requirement. The truth will out, one fine day. Mean-time, as an advocate for truth, I recommend conversational intolerance. If that's too much for you, I understand how your religious instincts can lead you to kill because of it, you zealoty iron age ignoramus.

  • Neh, it's not christians that's the problem, it's the rubbish they believe. It's easily disproven and we'll clear it up like the nasty rash it is in no time.

As you're a religious type you probably think killing anyone who doesn't think like you is the proper etiquette. But the way forward is coherent, rational argument, christians won't be around for much longer, and no bloodshed will be required.

  • Getting kinda tense aintcha? I bet you're really disappointed not to find the local branch of the inquisition in the phone book, so you could report all these annoying atheists to them and have them appropriately tortured.

Do you believe the earth goes round the sun? Have you caught up with that little morsel of truth and appropriated it to your world-view now?

Nice to find an honest Christian who's prepared to vent his hatred, instead of all that fakey "we'll pray for you" nonsense.

  • When did you Christians get together and decide it wasn't okay to kill the oppressors of the Jews anymore? Was it when you started doing it yourself?

Your morality is just as flexible as anyone else's :)

  • The tops of my feet are hairy and I don't believe in a god.

  • Mine too, and I don't believe in god either...

  • Love it!!!

  • Nice one

  • how do you feel about secular theists?

  • Isn't that an oxymoron?

  • I think it means a creationist that leaves their religion out of their public affairs, such as political office.

  • Or, it could mean a person that believes in God or a supreme being, but chooses not to follow a religion.

For example, many Christians could be considered secular theists, as religion itself isn't a priority.

On the other hand, some people call themselves "Christians" to give the impression that they are wholesome people. In reality, some of these individuals lie, cheat, steal, hate, and are proud of their sins. Yet they call themselves "Christians" solely to serve as a façade.

  • Correct

  • It's not that they don't deserve it, it's that they don't even think it's possible. It's difficult to have a reasonable, polite conversation with someone who honestly believes you're being controlled by satan. It's like trying to get your dog to stop following you around the house while you have a MilkBone in your pocket. It's just not gonna happen.

  • hahahaha nice however outright mocking them will not help at the very least practicing conversational intolerance will do more than mocking them

  • Conversational intolerance.

    Nice phrase.

  • ahahahha! funny stuff!

  • Laws of logic are inherent to logic. "Moral laws" are dictates of a mind. You cannot equate the two.

  • you mock the sufferings of God's people. I feel nothing but shame for you when I hear you speaking so pompously and so sure of yourself.

  • There are no god's people because there is no god.

You consider being deferential and unsure of yourself to be virtuous? Congratulations, you're another sucker the church can tell anything it likes while you stuff their coffers with cash.

Keep your feelings of shame for yourself if you rejoice in feeling inadequate. Your belief system is a tangle of foolish lies told by the worst kind of liars - those who lie to themselves.

  • He should speak sure of himself, he's right. BTW God doesn't exist, so that doesn't make "God's people" very special does it?

  • Love it
