Really sorry I haven't been back in a while. That certainly is a nice Taylor guitar, much better that what I had at your age. Songs like this are about telling a story and you're a very good story teller and musician/singer. I enjoyed your secluded performance meant to be a surprise and it sounds like it's something you love to do from time to time.

@2malinos Thank you Perry. I really love my guitar too! I am really working hard on using facial expressions when I am singing. It is something I learn alot about in voice lessons. Plus I am in a musical theatre class at an upcoming festival so I really have to be able to tell a story!

That Taylor guitar has a beautiful tone! And the sunburst finish, and pearl binding make it a very wonderful looking guitar too! I don't know if I agree about Makayla always needing to be mic'd .. I think her voice is SO pure - pitch perfect, strong, clear with a sweet tone, that she sounds brilliant here!! Makayla, you are a fabulous performer! Extremely talented, with a very bright future!!

@moondogg55 Thank you so much. I really do LOVE my new guitar. I don't play it very often right now because I usually just use the one I keep out in my bedroom so whenever I take this out of the case and play it I love it even more! What a nice thing to say about my voice. I really don't like using a mic at home. I would rather do it this way, I just need to always remember to really sing strong when I am strumming the guitar instead of picking. Thanks again :o)
