Hi, i have the dinar and i'm having trouble with the glamor makeup rubbing of when i rub my face or wear sunglasses it leaves marks. Do you have any suggestions to help with that?? also have you used the dinair paramedical makeup before?? i have been looking everywhere to find a review on this product but cant seem to find one.I would love to know how to use it, is it ok for sensitive skin types and how to clean your airgun after you use the paramedical foundation.
I'd like to know which airbrush system you recommend for mature dry skin? I am looking into the Dinair now, but the formulations as so different between companies.
Hey! I would really love to know how to use other makeups alongside using airbrush - for example, if i have a really great blush do i apply it before or after applying airbrush makeup (spec. dinair) - and what about eye makeup? please do a tutorial or write me back!! thank you!
Continued from below...I want to use the Dinair makeup instead of the airpod makeup, but if I don't have to buy the whole Dinair kit with compressor then that would be ideal..what do you think? Does the Dinair hose fit into the temptu compressor? Thanks for your help!
Hey Krystaal, I have a question for you since you own both systems... I bought the Temptu system but am wondering if the Dinair airbrush gun hose would fit into the temptu compressor? I want to use th
I'm looking to invest in an airbrush system and am pulled more towards Dinair because of the well. Am I correct in assuming that other airbrush makeup products such as OCC formula would work in the gun? My biggest hesitation with the Temptu is being limited to having to buy everything in pods. I know they have a pro line but I'm starting out and don't have enough credentials to qualify.
@lushfauxreal The pro line of temptu products will work in the dinair airbrush system so no need to worry there. The stylus gun is virtually the same as is the compressor in theory. The only difference is that the Temptu paint is silicone based which will wear harder and longer and the Dinair Paint is water based
@Anomaly003 I agree with you. I have Dinair and I love it. And yes, you don't have to take all the gun apart to clean it. Actually, if you do that all the time, you can ruin the needle. That's just if if gets clogged. You wash it with the solution and it is the easiest thing.
@skyyyskiii its not! The basic Temptu pkg (airbrush gun, compressor, one foundation, one blush, and one highlighter) is $295.00 (on sale) The basic Dinair pkg (airbrush gun, compressor, six foundations, and two glamour colors) is $199.00
Since Dinair is more versatile and offers more colors you can then expand and buy different blush, highlighters, e/s colors etc. You could therefore additionally buy 7 other .25oz bottles and still have money left over (compared to the original temptu pkg)
When you send it in to Dinair to get the annual cleaning done, do you have to pay for it or does it come with the "package deal" when you purchase the makeup set?
This is so funny, I thought I was the only one who has these 2 airbrush systems. Do you think with both systems, that I shouldn't moisturize before I apply make up and also do you think each of these work well with primers? and do you think they'll work well with mattifiers? Thanks!
@AndreaJuliet Which system do you like better as far as the foundation itself goes? Which system covers blemishes better, Temptu or Dinair? I have acne scars. I ordered the Dinair system 2 days ago but it won't ship until Wensday. Funny thing is even though I ordered the Dinair I am still undecided!!! LOL Thanks :)
@EtherMagic Hello again, well I will admit I haven't used the dinair enough to make a decision even thoughI've had it longer, I kind of got turned off because of all the cleaning and not knowing if I was doing it right and the finish was too matte for me, but then I started using it again & have been liking it much better and getting the results I like. I love the finish of the temptu, its more dewy because of the silicone (I think). Please keep us posted on what you like & tips you learn!
@EtherMagic both systems will correct pigment issues but neither will drastically correct texture as in pitted scars. Using a primer can lessen the appearance of deep scars but will not get rid of em. If your scarring is bad I suggest dinairs paramedical line of foundations.
AWESOME!!! Love the video, thanks!!! You failed to say which system you like better though :( I'm gonna be ordering the Dinair tomorrow, all I'm using it for is the Peramedical line of foundation to cover some acne scaring, which if your only using it for that, in the long run it's actually less expensive then Temptu, considering the foundation is cheaper.
Hello! Great video! I had the dinair system and had to turn it in after so many problems with the gun, also I felt the cleaning needed for just an average everyday user such as myself was a bit much...so I ended up purchasing the temptu airpod system, I am much happier w/the formula (less drying for my skintype) and the ease of use. Either way airbrushing is where it's at!
@JESUSfaithLOVEmakeup dinair is much better than temptu for oily skin types...also you may use a primer such as obsessive compulsive cosmetics skin primer which controls oil prior to airbrushing...Any mattifying primer will work prior to airbrush just do not moisturize. You may also dust your T zone with something like make up forever's HD powder. Hope this helps.....xoxo
@KrystaalRain That helps a lot! I didn't even know occ had an oil controlling primer.
Thank you for your input. I will definitely be buying the dinair system. Do they show you how to clean the entire gun in their DVD that it comes with?
One last question, I was looking at their website and I can't decide which kit to choose (for colors). I'm an NC30 in MAC, do you think the fair or the medium kit would suit that color?
@JESUSfaithLOVEmakeup I am not sure on which kit u r but I would guess the medium, call dinair and talk to a rep they will be able to assist you further than I can. Yes, their system does come with a dvd as well!!!! i will be posting more videos on it soon too!!! i know u will love dinair, have fun hunny!!! xoxo

Do you have to only use dinair products or could you use a liquid foundation that you already love but want that airbrushed look?

@kaexo you can definitely put on a powder blush afterwards but I would recommend setting with a translucent powder first if you are using the temptu

I did tons of research, and watched many reviews and tutorials before choosing which system to purchase..
And I wouldn't recommend any other airbrush system.
Dinair is the way to go.
Also.. you mentioned that you have to spray the moisturizer after the foundation.
But.. you can spray it before, mixed with the makeup, or after, each one will give a slightly different effect.
And.. you don't have to take the entire airbrush gun apart to clean it.. lol it's actually pretty easy.

When we send it in for cleaning, how much do you pay for shipping it to them so they can do it?

@skyyyskiii because dinair gives you the option of many different colors and stencils too which wind up costing more...
