  • The only person from the Manson family that should be free is Linda Kasabian, who refused to participate in the killings, showed remorse from the beginning, cooperated with the prosecution and testified against Manson and the others.

  • i don't believe grogan is at all dumb......if he's dumb then i'm a total retard because he was able to play and sing all those song manson wrote at age 18 -- great voice great guitar player and memorized all those words......the average person doesn't realize what it takes to do that at such an age.........as for him being a pedophile: everyone is a pedophile today if they so much as pet a child on the head.

  • Clem was a moron , and total idiot !!!

  • I find it odd that Tates mom is encouraging the fact that these "10" people are saying that if the Manson family ever gets out of prision, they'll kill them. Why would these 10 people murder if they're so against the Mansons for murdering? The people obviously support murder in some way if they plan on murdering, killing is killing. So these 10 people and Tates mom are clearly no more above the influence of killing than the Mansons are. Either that or the "free people" are trying to sound hard.

  • Oh the Political parole board decided he had Changed!! Grogan is a low life idiot. If that's true, the rest of them have a Chance! NOT!!!

  • I always thought that it was Steve Grogen that went to the Tate house after the killers returned. But I read from a reliable source that it was Nancy Pitman that went with Manson to the Tate house. Steve Grogen gets parole after 13 years and after 41 years, they still won't parole Lesley Van Houten. Killing is not what matters, it's who you kill that matters. Parole Board Politics!!

  • there all no good and i believe that charlie is home in prison.there are a lot of people who arnt loved as children and beat and molested like manson was its just too bad he didnt have compasion for others because he knew what being a victim was and went the other way. i think there is more than a mentall illness with him too i think he is psychotic.well i dont mean theyre no good as people I mean in society.

  • no it was TJ the terrible who went w/ Manson to tate and was w/ him when he shot Bernard Crowe(Lotsapoppa)

  • Many of the commenters here seem to be as criminally oriented as the Manson Family! But you sure do like to act like you're somehow extremely moral, while you call for mass murder by vigilantes. But maybe, like Grogan, you're just too dumb to think.

As for life in prison should be life in prison period......ah, the sentence is actually life in prison with the possibility of parole....hence, the parole!!

  • Grogan is a cold blooded killer, he doesn't deserve parole! You're doggone right it's a joke! What does this say about the system? This is no deterrent for any killer.

  • some vigilante type ought to go and do-in all these manson fuckers who keep getting out on parole. they should live in the type of fear that they instilled in so many people. how hard could it be to find these fuckers and "off" them without anyone giving a shit?

  • Remember Theodore "Bang Bang Silver Hammer" Streleski. That brings up old times.

  • god i hope Hell exists.

  • It would be interesting to let these bastards go. What sport it would be to hunt them down!

  • All of those scumbuckets would have been executed. Thank the liberals in California for keeping them alive at taxpayer expense.

  • RIP DORIS, WE MISS YOU !

  • im glad susan atkins died, all we have to wait for is the rest of those assholes, they didnt care for jay, sharon, and the rest, why should we.

  • her own words, that is exactly what she said. seems like a reliable source.

could have been in this part of the documentry or another. don't recall as it was a week ago i wrote that.

  • Tate's mother supports murdering Manson if he ever gets out.

    hypocrite.

  • And your source for that would be?

  • tate never said she suported killig chuck if he got out and tate died in the rearly 90's

  • hey... i don't care one way or the other....

she said it in this documentary.... i'm not gonna argue about something so silly. especially when she said it clear as day.

  • many would kill chuck for a variety of reasons, including noteriety, hell they can just claim self defense and again tate did not say SHE was going to kill him. Let's leave the dead in piece

  • you're right... she didn't say she would kill him... but she said others would and she supported that, thus supporting his murder.

  • No, you are ASSUMING. Think of this, do you think if Mark David Chapman gets released, he would not be killed by a beatle fan? That just point out what would likely happen. For example, I preddicted that Benazir Butto would be executed if she ran for prime minister of Pakistan again. I do not support assasimation in any way. I just understand the politics of the region. That does not imply support for murder, understand? Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • sigh... predicting is one thing...

predicting it and then SAYING you agree that he should be killed is another.

    thanks.

  • drugged me with drugs brilliant chuck why bother with paole chuck you admit that jail is home

  • Let's evaluate. Grogan, tortured and murdered Shea. He's free. Squeeky and Sandra Good, who have remained loyal and dedicated to Manson throughout the last 40 odd years, are free. But Beausoleil and Van Houten, who have since gotten on with life, so to speak are imprisoned. I'm not championing or promoting any of them, but if someone gave you the choice of living next door to the former or the latter, which would you choose?

  • what I would have given to hear the judge say to Steve Grogan "You're too stupid and drugged"

  • so being stupid and drugged is a defense huh? amazing

  • No, not at all, I just think it's funny for a judge to say that to someone, I thought their job was to interpret the law, not comment on the stupidity of the accused

  • That they could have been executed in the 70s is irrelevant. Murderers in our society serve a certain number of years and are *released* - that's the point of allowing parole and the reason prison exists to reform criminals. The manson family were brainwashed by a charismatic cult leader when they committed their crimes and they represent no danger to anyone nowadays (several members who are now free are proof of this assertion). 40+ years in prison is monstrous - spies don't serve that much

  • I agree 40 years is a lot of time they should have just been executed as they were sentenced

  • But given that they weren't executed and were instead sentenced to life WITH parole - they should be paroled.

  • they are only alive because of a momentary lapse of reason by the state of California, they already got too much.

  • Obelisk2290:

I admire Texas, where these bastards would have been dead long ago.

  • especially when that asshole bush was in charge

  • None of these low life Manson followers should be released. All these f**king liberal lawmakers make me sick. All manson followers should have been put to death.

  • He should have gone to the firing squad.

  • steven kay from his MOTHER

  • omg! charles looks, sounds and acts like george bush! and at 3:07 that bloke on the right is ROLTHSCHILD isnt it?????

  • omg! There are still idiots out there suffering from BDS! Get a life, asshole! You were (at most) 2 years old when this happened and have absolutely no idea WHAT happened.

  • Grogan was "confined to a mental institution befor the manson family members broke him out just in time, he also participated in the "clean up & bragged to Decarlo that shorty was in"9" different graves" Clemm wasent "brain damaged enough to get parole? I say somebody that"changes their name & identity shoud hang with the rest of them"

  • How can they let this guy out and not Bobby B?

  • i know- enough of her bullshit

  • he speaks more sense then GW bush, they are very lookalike maybe related by whore

  • manson looks happy inside the prison...others are struggling to get out...

  • I dont think he wants to get out either, I think he is institutionalized just like the woman said. I think he is happy where he is.

  • @ 2:57-3:06 - Did he just say that Van Houten should get paroled?

  • grogan looks soooooo high in his mugshot

  • And so hotttt

  • great report

  • No, Manson even admitted to it in the book called "Manson In His Own Words", stating that he went back to the house later that night with someone else from the group (but he wouldnt say who it was). He admitted leaving the glasses to confuse the investigation. I think his partner that night was Clem, but Ive also seen it speculated that it might have been Brenda. However, blood evidence showed that Tate and Sebring were probably moved around, so they'd have had to be someone fairly strong.

  • I think you're probably right about Grogan. I doubt Manson would return to a crime-scene with only he and one of the girls. He would have wanted one of the guys to accompany him. Grogan was very devoted to Manson. I also think it is interesting that Grogan was never charged as a conspirator in the Labianca killings since he was there that night.

  • Grogan was, in all likelihood, the person who accompanied Manson on a return trip to the Tate house that night, moving bodies around and leaving "red herring" clues to try and throw police off their trail. He is just as much of a conspirator as any of them, and his parole was a travesty. I hope he has regular nightmares to remind him of what a gutless piece of trash he is.

  • thanx for posting. Its hard to find footage of an older Grogan. I'd love to hear an in depth version of his story because before the murders and up to his arrest (at least) he seemed as devoted a member as could be (see interviews and the documentary Manson). I'd love to know what was said between CM and Clem in prison.

  • life in prison should mean life in prison period...what a fucking joke.

  • There is no "manson myth", manson was not "created", that is all bitter whining anti-establishment drivel. There are a set of facts that have been firmly established, there are a set of perpetrators, and a set of crimes. Nutjobs who repeat this "manson is a mirror" nonsense don't even understand what they are saying, they are just repeating what the man himself said because it sounds good, that's as deep as these creeps go.

  • "a set of fact" hasnt been firmly established. I know charles manson can waffle on about this and that but the fact remains he is in prison for conspiracy and has done more time than is usual for such a crime, because of noteriety gained thanks to the media hype. He murdered no-one and out of those arrested, had the biggest rap sheet. The establishment lies to convict people, this has been proven again and agin, why not manson? because theres a tv movie? lets be real, free manson!!!

  • Establishment Lies...I heard enough of that crap back in the 60's! Grow up already! manson is a lunatic. Duh...if you have something like 50 prior convictions...that might affect your sentence! This guy can't cut it on the outside!

  • I agree from what I know of him he probably cant cut it on the outside, the general pooint I was making was that the justice system didn't treat this case fairly. Whether you heard enough of people accusing the establishment of lying in the 60's or not doesnt make it a false accusation. Apathy is such an ugly personality trait.

  • Ok, fair enough...but remember... the outrageous antics of manson and the girls during the trial didn't help thier cause either.

  • lmao, at 254 Kay expresses fears towards grogan more than van houten...

yeah van houten is still in prison till this day grogen never commited another crime since realesed (1985) .. and steven Kay still goes to all parole hearings involving van houten saying she will be a threat to society.... what a dick.. GOD HE JUST LOVE ALL THE ATTENTION !!!!

    PEOPLE??????????????????????????????

  • Before the killers left for the Tate house, Grogen knew they were going there to kill. He was in the bunk house with the killers after they returned. He drove with 6 other members to the Labianca home and was the only member not indicted for the Labianca murders. He was willing to kill L.K friend, Nader. Killed Shorty Shea. Was convicted of indecent exposure to children. was a known pedaphile. Convicted of conspiring in the attempted murder of B. Hoyt. S.G paroled not L.V.

  • When I listened to this Video there is nothing about this man that is any different than leslie. She is doing good works in prison, she as recieved therapy, she has not had any contact with Manson. I think they are afraid of what would happen if they let Leslie out again it is the politices. Steve Grogen dosen,t hold the same threat to them I guess. Any ideas out there on this matter.

  • Yeh I agree with you, it's political. Mr. Kay(DA) said that from what he knows about the two killers, he'd rather L.V. was paroled. I don't know if this is true, but it has been rumored that S.G. is connected with people high up in the justice system. Also, Shorty Shea's death was hardly publicized or ever talked about. Nobody showed to S.G. parole hearings protesting. Some reason Mr, K was not D.A at his parole hearings

  • Also, Tate/Labianca murders inadvertantly connects L.V. with the Tate murders; whereas S.G. for whatever reason was not seen as a player in those murders. He drove with other family members to Labianca home and knew that murder was going to take place on August 9. He was present with the killers in the bunk house after they returned from Tate house. I definitely would have paroled L.V. before S.G.

  • Grogan is playing music in San Bernadino under a new name.

Not bad considering his judge said he 'operated at the level of an animal'.

Watch the MANSON film by Hendrickson - Grogan TOTALLY mirrors Charlie - word for word with some bits of wisdom.

He was a punk before he met Charlie.

He played dumb and 'drugged' and I think Yes - his family must have connections.

Van Houten and Krenwinkle are threats ?

Old women broken by jail since age 19 ?

    But Atkins should rot.

  • When Grogan was giving his little spiel in the film "manson", I thought..."this is manson speaking"...right down to the gibberish talk...zip-zap ring a ding! Also...much the same with Bruce Davis. It is a good example of the influence manson had on them. Although I do think the judge exagerated grogan's idiocy...I still don't think he was the sharpest tool in the shed.

  • Atkins should rot??...Krenwinkle killed more than any of them except for Tex...Know the story before talking.

  • no way should that hairy beast kremwinkle be let out. she took pleasure in her part in the murders. read tex watson's book. he tells how atkins was too afraid to kill anyone and how van houten was terrified and wanted to leave, but kremwinkle was looking for knives with positive relish at the labianca house.

  • manson is a two bit hobo who was created

  • van houten got screwed. grogan is a piece of shit rat and he got released. van houten was a stupid 19-20 year old girl and did not know what she was into and still is inside because of people who but into the "manson myth"

  • Thanks nrthduded1, I am glad to see someone agrees with me and has the same question. Maybe you are right, maybe he had some help from family conections within the system, now that would make sense. It rally make you wonder about our justice system.

  • Isn't it true that Grogan had relatives in the California justice system? He was (is?) a real creep and violent. Not that the others should be let out, but why him?

  • I don't understand any of this. Why does he get paroled? The girls have well educated themselves. They have been model prisoners, they have been getting therapy just as much as Grogan and they do not have any contact with Manson. They didn't even mention whether or not Grogan showed any remorse. That seems to be a BIG question for the Girls when they go for their parole meetings why is he any different. He Killed and tortured Shorty Shea and maybe even more people.

  • Last time I checked you can't get a conviction on a maybe!!! Grogan was an idiot and should have been in a mental hospital instead of a prison. He told the cops where shorty shea was buried and that helped him get paroled.

  • No you can,t get convicted on a maybe but he did murder shorty shea with manson. I don,t care if he showed them where he was buried. The thing is Leslie stapped her victim after she was dead.Under the influence of manson and drugs. What here is the difference why does She not deserve a break too. I don,t get it. Politics.

  • puppetquet: You hit it dead on man. Nearly 40 years later and none of the girls have been paroled, in particular Van Houten. How in god's name do they justify it. Answer: They don't have too. That's politics

  • Oh shit! I typed in Steve Grogan in a search, and found this clip! I knew Grogan was a tuff guy but I didn't know he was a murderer too hahaha... "Grogan was too stupid and drugged" - yeah sounds like the Superbowl XX Patriots LOL. Seriously, if you want to see the REAL Steve Grogan QB, check out my videos for his NCAA College Football days when he played for the Kansas State Wildcats.

  • This Steve Grogan was described as a complete moron by a judge, and had pedophilic charges and other raps on his sheets. He was involved in several murders for the Manson family, only convicted of one, but should never have been paroled. The other SG was a mediocre NFL QB.

  • Mediocre! Are you kidding me! Steve Grogan was phenominal - he played on a bad team.

  • Steve Grogan... hahahaha. I heard Irving Fryar was his accomplice.

  • Steve Grogan, the New England Patriots quarterback in the 70's and 80's was a member of the Manson Family?!?!

  • doody head!
