the twitching hasn't been proven to work, players used it to re-calibrate the aim on halo 1, it was used in other fps's but now they just do it out of habit. Some say it helps them focus but whatever works I guess

In theory this "twitch" thing is pretty sound. Doing this would, in theory, keep your thumb loose and therefore would prevent under/over compensation when aiming due to joint stiffness. In practice however I can see it becoming a bit like Reflex Reloading, doing it to the point where you do it enough to get killed because of it.

Rotating the analog sticks was hardly "invented" by any Ogre. It's called reseting your aim. Been doing that for years since Doom fragfests back in 92 on LAN on the PC. Didn't become necessary until the original Halo and everyone started rotating the left analog on start. Very apparent in Gears of War tourneys since the sniper rounds emit from the direction of your knees and not from the angle of your rifle. A full rotation positions the knees to default.
