My 240 leaks from the same exact bolt. Since the IP is lubricated both by oil and diesel I would think there's a passage under that bolt for the lubricating oil. That's just a guess so don't take my word for it.
@82MB240D On newer engines the lubricating oil fils up from the engine on older like this you have to fill the injection pump to right level trough the red oil cap and check the level in the plug on side behind primary pump

You don´t have to remove the whole cup to change the o ring just unscrew the large bolt on the top and remove the washer under

On the side of the block is a small screw that locks the cup which the bolt is in.
The cup is a bearing for the oil pump drive shaft.
It Has a O-ring and Can easely be changed
