Depends how you would want to send a message or answering a call. I had the e71 ...personally i think the e75 is better. But sms mode i felt e71 keypad provides better feel with the bumps. where else e75 keypad is flush.

really good actually!

if (with any phone!) you load the battery up full the first time, like a few hours, the battery ll last for ages.

actually that was the case a few years ago but now these batteries used in small electronic devices are made in a way that they wont need to be charged full when first used.. The batterylife is one of the main factors for me when selecting new phone. Usually nokias' batteries are pretty good in the beginning but after a year they start to lose the umpf

a) both are the exact same software just different form factors.

b) both wont be out for atleast a month.

Personally i'd go for the e72(on paper fixes all the quirks to the amazing e71) or the e52(unparalled batt on a smartphone, candybar form).

The duel letter/key on the e55 is something nokia have never done before so it wouldbe interesting to see how it works.

Connect your phone via cable/usb.

A menu will come up on the phone.

Choose PC suite if you have it installed on your computer. Since i do not use pc suite im not sure about the exact procedure but, you there wold be a menu along the lines of "transfer media/songs".

Easy way is: connect phone to pc. choose mass storage. copy file from your device onto memory card. in music application select "update library". phone will auto detect your song! Enjoy! :) (sry for not using proper caps! :P)

But, please consider buying a 720p recordable camera. The video quality of this review is quite terrible. I can't even see the text in the menus (yes, even the "HQ" is terrible).

I have bought the e75 and i was satisfied with it and i have some notes to share with my friends here:

1- its power canont withstand more than 2 days with talking and media gps.

2-the resolution of the videos is only 176*144 :( i was really unsatisfied with that.

3- the pic is placed at a place that always i put my hand on it and friends canot hear me.

4- the side buttons are always pressed while talking :S.

But at last i can see its amazing phone

What a POS phone. It's useless for business comm - it drops calls regularly, has a lousy battery life and speakerphone volume is too low to use while driving. Should have spent my money on an iPhone.

For me, the answer is no. I didn't like the screen that appeared to be smaller than the E71 (even though it isn't). The numerical keypad buttons around the dpad seemed too flimsy. The qwerty buttons were too flat and made fast typing a bit more difficult.

I never gave much thought about the E72. Aside from a metallic facelift, a 3.5mm jack, feature pack 2, and an optical dpad, there aren't any major changes that make this better than my E71. Once I found out that the 5megapixel camera still shoots video at 30 frames per second, I really knew that the E72 is not worth the extra money over the E71.

I got the 5800 and it is awesome, with a better user experience. the e75 is too much like the e51, the qwerty keyboard is not a big draw to me since i can type one-handed pretty fast on a standard keypad. the screen is way too small for my liking and the camera is not a huge improvement.

If you are referring to the changing of the screen's orientation, yes. This accelerator feature would have to be enable via the menus.

I am sure that both devices do have their benefits in regards to running the Symbian OS, but they simply don't work for me due to the lack of a qwerty.

It all depends on what you are using the phone for. The qwerty on the E75 will offer more proficiency in messaging and document editing. However, if you prefer T9, a bigger screen, multimedia and don't mind the lack of a qwerty, the N95 8GB or N96 may be ones to look at.

The N82 with its xenon flash seems like a good device to stay with as far as camera quality is concerned.

Thanks for the reply, i know you're a busy guy and rarely get a chance to reply.

I like the N82, nothing wrong with it, but I do a lot of texts, and the keypad isn't the best, my fingers really hurt after texting a lot.

I'll use the cell mostly for messaging and calling, which has the better keypad, n95 or the n96.
