Yes, but dark comedy implies that there will be comedy at some point. Saying something is dark comedy is not a free pass for something to not be funny. People who like the movie say that your stupid for not liking it and that you just dont get it; when in reality they're just saying it to seem smart. A smart person would know that a dark comedy is just a comedy about bad situations and is supposed to make you laugh; which this movie fails at.

Coens characterisations are lined with hilarious mannerisms and jokey names. This is really funny, unfortunately you are just trained to laugh when the laugh track kicks in.  Movies like this show how simple minded 99% of society is anymore. I'm 20, and this film is by far one of the greatest, if not the greatest,social and political satires of the decade. For what it tries to accomplish it deserves 10/10 because it does it flawlessly. People go into this expecting to watch a comedy and roll around on the floor laughing. It's not a comedy, it's a satire.
