Okay, seriously. I don't really give a care if you downvote this, but I have to get my opinion out. A game is a game. It doesn't matter if it's a shoot-em-up (CoD, BF), multiplayer or some kind of epic RPG (EB). They're made for enjoyment, and some just do it better than others (EB).

Back in 6th grade, I loved earthbound for many reasons. The music was one of them. Three years later, I decide to listen to this song. It literally brought me to tears because usually there isn't music like this in games

@TheLingaling I won't argue over it too much, but I would say the very 3 first Call of Duty games should be considered cult classics as they were the start of the series and accomplished a lot. I don't like Black Ops, so honestly I consider any game BESIDES Black Ops good, because they are. I thought Treyarch could do better. When I have a kid he will know of the Mother series without a doubt. Sounds a bit excessive, but I think naming him Ninten would do well.

The funny thing about me is that, as a baby my brother and I were given an N64 to share, and we also had my dad's Genesis, and we played the hell out of those 2 until 2002 where we bought a GameCube, and that made us 2 kids, not even 17,interested in retro games.

Amen to that. I grew up with both of those, and VI/III is still my favorite to this day. We'd play the hell out of Goldeneye at parties.

I try so often to point IV-VI and other classics to kids and they dismiss them. Most it's a graphical thing, and that drives me nuts...

On a side note: I was happy to find Earthbound at a used game/movie store last year and now it has a happy home in my SNES next to my FFVI/Zelda:LttP carts. :3

My friend introduced me to Earthbound a couple of years ago, and from their on I got kinda hooked on the soundtrack and playing the game. Without him I'd still probably be sitting playing a bunch of crap FPS's like most people today.

@Hawelo92 not neccesarily im a 12 year old boy and i still play all the old games such as eartbound 007 and many more but i still like to play most new games but most are never as good as the classics, i remember i was 6 and my dad came in with a box and it had super smash bros on the cover came with 2 controllers a rumble pack and super smash, one of the happiest days of my life that i will never forget :)
