Product design certainly was not in mind for this product. It is useful and versitile, but look at the remote, it is extremely unpleasent to look at. Omfg, America! do something about it!
@buckamoona lol I'm getting one today. So glad it supports MKV and MP4 formats. Smaller files and they tend to be better picture too. I had to convert all MKV and MP4 files with my previous media player. Took frikking hours and hours and the output file was massive compared to the original.

cool for movies and has hdmi support upto 1080 and can use a usb card reader in its usb ports if you need to have it read a memory card!!! absolutly awesome...about $150 australian or $ 130 usd...cheers

As long as your external hard drive is formatted ntfs or mac os extended, you will be able to put files 4 gb or larger.

Yes. I think it doesn't play media files that are over 256 GB in size.
