Michael, why try & track him down. Almost certainly passed away by now. Otherwise why would anyone behave in such a suicidal & utterly irresponsible fashion. Sadest facet to this is the realisation that if the Elephant had caused serious injury or even death, he would most likely have then been tracked down & shot as being a dangerous beast. Tragic. I recently spent 12 days in the Kruger National Park, with a 4x4 vehicle probably twice the size of the car in the video, and I would always keep a very respectable distance between an elephant and myself, as I know how unpredictable they can be from many years of visiting the KNP.
I also never switch the vehicle's engine off when in the vicinity of elephants, and I think the guy in the car did, as it took him so long to start moving.
Probably the elephant does the crushing of the car better than a bulldozer. Believe it or not. It can also dismember you and trample your body parts until they are flattened.

i wish i was i wouldnt feel dangerd :) just look at tht elephant he didnt mean anything agresive or his ears wud be pushed far forward and wide 2 show defence of agresion, iv rode an elephant, fed elephants in thailand, i just lov em :)
