@xXyersweetnitemareXx You shouldn't get an exotic pet such as a fennec fox just because it is CUTE or COOL. Thats a horribly selfish thing to do. If your dead set on getting an exotic than at least do yourself, and the pet, a favor by doing your research and talking to experts. People all to often abuse the trade of exotics (not to say that you do; its just a common reoccurring problem)

I don't have a Fennec fox but i know that they were brought in the united states and other countries for the sole propose of being bread as house pets and to save them from being hunted. I personally don't have one cuz yet but I'm saving up for one. yes I do agree that people should do their research but it looks to me like this little guy in the video is very happy. @mustfindwaldo They generally cost around $2000. You can get a permit depending on what state you live in. Each state has different laws and some don't allow them as pets at all.

@RaeTheEevee First, you have to make sure they are legal in your area. Only certain statesallow fennecs to be kept as pets. You definitely need to do some research if truly concidering adopting a Fennec into your house. They require A LOT of time and attention as well as space. They are very active pets and need a lot of social interaction with their 'owner'.

The actions of Scout here remind me SO MUCH of my little Chihuahua! She was always like this. She would scratch at her food, put it in her mouth, throw it across the room, run after it, run circles around it forever, THEN eat it xD She did this one piece at a time until she was full. @weldonwin Corn and carrots aren't digested well. It loses nutrients and can make them sick, occasionally. Fennecs have a taste for pretty much anything a human would eat, but a lot of times its bad for them. Grapes are especially risky to be feeding them, as there are known cases of grapes killing dogs and other canines. No one knows why, but best to be safe.

But before you do, make sure it is legal to own one of these little guys in your area because if you are found with one where they are not allowed, they will take him away and euthanize them :((
