ur so right the UFC has put together some below average cards they used to have maybe 3+ fights that had star power on the main card now it is like 1 maybe 2 they are leaning more towards selling PPV based on its the UFC. Afflictions was stacked for both events so it can be done. The UFC just does not want to put certain star guys against the best they have, they don't want to have certain guys lose (Chuck, Forrest, Anderson just to name a few) cause they are the UFCs cash cows.

Months? How about years. TNA has been going down hill slowly since abround 06 or 07 and now they're on a downward spiral with no signs of improving. They've been neglecting their x division and dont even give it the respect it deserves like they used to. They put on maybe a great x division match once every six months or so versus doing it every week like they used too. TNA seriously needs to step it up and go back to the way they used to be.

UFC really can't put on the cards anymore. They have a lot more fighters now than back in 04. We're not going to see half the fighters we would normally see if they did that. Affliction can afford that because of who they're backed by, UFC probably could as well, but we wouldn't see half the guys we do now get a shot at getting on a PPV card. As for matchmaking. I want to see an entertaining fight, I don't care if I like both guys, I like Nog and Mir, but I still wanted to see it.

wow, I never really noticed that. I guess it makes sense that the new guys have to slow down there style so that the veterans can look good. All this time I've wondred why guys like AJ Sttyles, Samoa Joe, Petey Williams, etc. have all looked so slow and sloppy in the ring for the last 1-2 years. It kinda sucks because I would love to see Samoa Joe go '05 on all these older guys and show them what he really can do. Same with AJ!

Like the old ECW they seem to be the 3rd tier Promotion that seem to struggle in both rating & financial,but have garner a cult-like following that most hardcore wrestling fans views wrestling-wise are better than both tna & WWE
