Wrong, It is an M16, M4's didnt exist at the time this game is set. M16's only have three round burst with the M203 attached.

wellt the designers fucked up, it has the barrel and front assembly of an M16 but the stock of M4 or M177 to be correct as m4's didnt come till 1994 this game is set in 1991. M177's look simliar to M4's
