  • What happened in Easy Goer's Belmont Stakes blowout, runaway win and in this Derby over a muddy track spoke for themselves. Easy Goer was the vastly faster racehorse.Easy Goer ran seven or eight 120+ or higher beyers(DOUBLE more than any horse since Bid, including Ghostzapper,Skip Away,Cigar,Holy Bull,Alysheba,John Henry,SS,etc) in his career, while SS ran ONE! Despicably bad and admittedly despicable riding by Pat Day=the great equalizer,&cost the better horse by an inch and desperate neck.

  • Scoreboard never lies? It sure doesn't! Noor beat Citation 4 of 5 races. Beau Purple beat Kelso 3 of 4 races. Damascus beat Dr. Fager 2 of 4 races.Big Spruce and Wajima beat Forego 2 of 3 races. Interco beat John Henry 2 of 3 races. Formal Gold beat Skip Away 4 of 6 races. Akureyri beat Pleasant Colony 3 of 4 races. Scoreboard never lies.

  • Thank you USA from JAPAN.Thank you very much for the wonderful gift.

  • Absolutely, Easy Goer was far superior than ss at any distance over 10F. At 9.5F in the Preakness and 10F in the Classic, Day's typically atrocious riding(also see Sky Classic,Turkoman,Java Gold,Forty Niner,Menifee,Heavenly Prize,Seeking the Gold,Paradise Creek,Surfside,Banshee Breeze, etc) cost him by a nose and desperation neck vs. an also great in ss. But on a funky, peanut buttery, muddy Churchill track, both Is it True and ss were better than EG, very bad ankles, spinning his wheels.

  • Yep he is. Two all time greats. This race, the whole field looked like they were struggling mightily in the mud. Steve Haskins said, "Easy Goer had horrible ankles & was just floundering in the Churchill mud twice." Easy Goer was about ten or more lengths better than his stablemate Awe Inspiring, and that's how close they came here.S.S. handled this mud.Mud is different everywhere.

  • Sunday Silence is a legendary sire in Japan.

  • Hey, you qoute the Bloodhorse book, and he will always be mentioned with the greatest of all times, but you remember who stated,"Easy Goer, a nose and desperation neck(due to typically atrocious PDay riding) away from being mentioned in the same reverential breath with Man O'War,Secretariat(who did lose three races at three),Citation(who lost four of five to Noor),Dr. Fager(lost two of four to Damascus),Forego(lost two of three),Kelso(lost three of four),and his campaign acclaimed the best ever."

  • Put Jerry Bailey,Angel Cordero,Laffit Pincay,Arcaro on Easy Goer and Easy Goer never, ever gets beat a nose and desperation neck in 2 races due to typically atrocious Pat Day riding. The huge difference between all those typicals was that Easy Goer was always no doubt a a top 10 all time thorobred in talent,ability,constitution,speed-stamina combo, with the clear proof of that coming from his many, many top 10 performances at all distances, but the nose and despearate neck to atrocious rides=30's-SS

  • Pat Day ONLY rode Easy Goer atrociously bad in two races? No, not in the least. Typical typical atrocious riding costing so many top horses eclipse awards, derby's,breeders cup's,etc- Sky Classic in 92,Easy Goer,Java Gold in 87,Turkoman in 86,Forty Niner in 88,Menifee in 99,Heavenly Prize in 94,95, Seeking the Gold,Paradise Creek,Banshee Breeze,Surfside, and so many more typically atrocious Pat Day rides.

  • Easy Goer, here is Hall of Fame champion racehorse who combined, wicked record speed(1:32.2) at a mile and at shorter distances, with a thoroughly supreme and brilliant stamina to run the second fastest Belmont of all time, and run many of the most historic races(Belmont,Gotham,Champagne,Whitney,Travers,Suburban, etc) won by many Hall of Fame horses on or near trk. records at all distances, but the two awful kid gloves and baby hands rides cost him by a nostril and desperate neck in two outs

  • There are some amazing reasons why the Bloodhorse top one hundred book in the Easy Goer article states,"Easy Goer will ALWAYS be mentioned in the same breath with the GREATEST of ALL TIME", and that is despite the two awful kid gloves and baby hands rides that cost him by a nostril and desperate neck in two outs. SS was never, nor will ever be mentioned with the Dr. Fager's(lost 2 of 4 to Dam.),Secretariat(lost 3 times at 3),Buckpasser,Forego(lost 2 of 3 to Wajima),Kelso(lost 3 of 4 to B.Purple),

  • Moron and clueless. Easy Goer ran the fastest three year old mile of all time 1:32.2,under a hammerlock, received a 120 beyer. Easy Goer ran the second fastest Belmont of all time, 126 beyer.Easy Goer ran among the fastest Champagnes ever,116 beyer at two. That Whitney, second fastest at the time, ran 123 beyer,Lawyer Ron-115.That Travers,124 beyer. That Suburban was slow?3/5 off tr.record giving 12-18lbs,122 beyer in 2:00.That JCGoldCup was slow, 122 beyer for those two "slow"races.

  • Who beat the Bid three times? Well Bid still lost the two biggest races as 3 yr old in the Jockey Club Gold Cup and Belmont. But who beat Citation 4 times? Noor. Who beat Kelso 3 of 4 times? Beau Purple. Who beat Forego 2 of 3 times? Big Spruce. Who beat John Henry 2 of 3? Interco. Who beat Whirlaway 3 of 4? Our Boots. Who beat Round Table 3 times? Clem.Who beat Dr. Fager 2 of 4?Damascus. and on and on

  • LOL! Clueless!Easy Goer had the worst, grapefruit size ankles and knees and was fighting cracks in his heels during Derby and Preakness time. And SS did NOT lose 5 lengths in the Preakness.Valeznuela took Day out to the middle of the track down the backstretch and I have seen the head on, he did not check due to Day,or even have to check much at all. And Valenzuela had to trap and bang him into the rail to win the Preakness by a nostril, and Day still cost him by throwing his head before the line

  • Not just Crist, but like the Bloodhorse Top 100 book states in the Easy Goer article, "Easy Goer will ALWAYS be MENTIONED in the same breath with the GREATEST of ALL TIME", despite the two awful kid gloves and baby hands rides by Day that cost him by a nose and desperation neck in two outs.

  • Wow, Easy Goer runs the worst race of his life, and all SS can do is win by 2 in 2:05! Where was SS in the test of the champion Belmont Stakes, he needed binocs to see Easy Goer. Easy Goer, the best since the Bid, only two terrible rides by Day got this horse beat a nose and desperate head in two races.

  • Easy Goer was UNDOUBTEDLY a top ten all-time thoroughbred in talent, heart, constitution, ability, speed, stamina with the clear proof of that coming from his many many top ten all time thorobred performances in his career at all distances, but the two extremely atrocious and typical Pat Day rides that got him beat a nose and neck in two races put him down into the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • Like drfager01 said, and I totally agree.Easy Goer, here is a Hall of Fame champion horse with unlimited record speed(1:32.2,1:15.2) abilities at 8f and shorter distances, with a thoroughly genuine and superb stamina to run the second fastest Belmont of all time, and run many of the most historic races won by many Hall of Fame horses on or near track records at every distance, and Pat Day rode him with "kid gloves and baby hands", rode him awful to get him beat a nostril&desperate neck in 2 outs

  • Big races? Well, actually races open to all age horses are just as big, if not bigger, because three year olds have to face older horses, and the Belmont,Jockey Club Gold Cup against older, Woodward against older horses, Whitney against older horses, Suburban agains older horses,Travers, Champagne, are the biggest events in the sport, along with the Triple Crown and Breeders Cup. And Easy Goer only lost because of two atrocious Pat Day rides by a nose and neck in two big races.

  • Easy Goer simply will always be mentioned in the same breath with the greatest of all times, the Dr. Fager's, Secretariat,Kelso,Buckpasser,Damascus, etc despite the two awful rides that got him beat a nostril and desperate neck in two races. SS was never nor will ever be mentioned with the Dr. Fager's, Secretariat, Kelso,Buckpasser,Damascus. Heck, even in Zenyatta's loss, they compared it to Easy Goer's desperate neck loss in the Classic. Hmmm

  • SS lost the biggest race of his life by eight lengths in the Belmont, and lost to Prized in a Group 2, and lost to Criminal Type, and only won the Preakness by a nostril and Classic by a desperate neck because of two appalingly awful Pat Day rides.

  • LOL! 3 of 4 Behind on the Scoreboard? Well Easy Goer Is in With Some Mighty Legendary Immortals on that Behind on the Scoreboard List With the Likes of Citation(Lost 4 of 5 to Noor), Kelso(Lost 3 of 4 to Beau Purple),Forego(Lost 2 of 3 to Big Spruce), Whirlaway Lost 3 to Our Boots,Round Table Lost 3 ot Clem, Skip Away Lost 4 of 6 To Formal Gold,Pleasant Colony Lost 3 of 4 to Akureyri,Etc

  • ERNIE'S words will live FOREVER and ever! He says, "Easy Goer was a TRUE ALL TIME GREAT, fastest three year old mile of all time in 1:32.2, second fastest Belmont of all time, many of the most historic races on or near track records at every distance. He deserved better in that amazing campaign he was put through." Your words will live in infamy

  • Easy Goer will always be mentioned in the same breath with the greatest of all time, despite the two appalingly awful rides that got him beat a nostril and desperate neck in two races. SS was never nor will ever be mentioned in the same breath with the Dr. Fager's, Secretariat, Kelso, Buckpasser,Damascus, etc

  • Easy Goer simply joined all time greats like Native Dancer,Holy Bull,Damascus,Nashua,Skip Away, Bold Ruler,Point Given,Curlin, Arts and Letters,Risen Star, Afleet Alex,Gallant Man, Sword Dancer as horses who didn;t win the Derby over that quirky track at Churchill

  • But the big difference was that Easy Goer was ALWAYS undoubtedly a top ten thorobred in talent, constitution, ability, heart, speed, stamina, with the clear proof of that coming from his many many top ten thorobred performances in hsi career at all distances, but the two extremely atrocious Pat the choker Day rides that got him beat a nose and neck in two races put him down into the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • As if Pat Day ONLY rode Easy Goer atrociously bad in two races??? NO sir! Typical typical atrocious owned Pat Day rides on so many top horses over mile tracks and mile and eighth and mile and half tracks- Sky Classic, Java Gold, Easy Goer,Turkoman,Seeking the Gold, Heavenly Prize, Forty Niner, Menifee,Surfside,Banshee Breeze and so many others

  • Exactly, it was Pat Day with the his extremely atrocious owned riding that was the one who was owned. His two extremely atrocious rides got the best horse beat a nose and neck over mile tracks.

  • More like Pat Day was the OWNED jockey, he was owned by every jockey out there, that is the real truth

  • SS owned nobody at those tracks. Easy Goer owned SS in the Belmont, in Pimlico a terrible terrible ride got him beat by a nose, and in Gulfstream a terrible terrible ride got him beat a neck, and oh yeah at Churchill where Easy Goer ran the worst race of his career on a shitty track, all SS could do is win by two in 2:05!!

  • ERNIE'S words will live forever and ever and ever! He says, "Easy Goer was a TRUE ALL TIME GREAT, fastest three year old mile of all time in 1:32.2, second fastest Belmont of all time, many of the most historic races won by many Hall of fame horses on or near track records. He deserved better in that amazing campaign he was put through." Words that will live in infamy and forever

  • Easy Goer joined Native Dancer, Damascus, Holy Bull, Nashua, Bold Ruler, Skip Away, Point Given, Curlin, Afleet Alex, Risen Star,Arts and Letters, Gallant Man, Sword Dancer, among the many greats to lose the Derby and/or not handle that peanut butter track at Churchill

  • Easy Goer will always be mentioned in the same breath with the greatest of all times, despite the two awful rides that got him beat a nostril and desperate neck in two races. SS was never nor will ever be mentioned in the same breath with the Dr. Fager's, Secretariat, Kelso, Buckpasser, etc

  • But the major difference was that Easy Goer was always undoubtedly a top 10 all time thorobred in talent, constitution, heart, ability, speed, stamina, with the clear proof of that coming from his many top 10 all time thorobred performances in his career at all distances, but the two two extremely atrocious owned choking bad Pat Day rides that got him beat a nose and neck in 2 races, put him down into the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • As if Pat Day ONLY rode Easy Goer atrociously chokingly bad? NO NOT!! Typical typical owned atrocious choking Pat Day rides on so many top horses costiing them eclipse awards, derby's, Breeders Cup races, Champion awards- Sky Classic, Easy Goer, Java Gold, Turkoman, Heavenly Prize,Seeking the Gold, Forty Niner, Menifee, Surfside, Banshee Breeze and so many others

  • Exactly, Pat Day was the owned one, and Pat Day was owned by every jockey out there.

  • Easy Goer owned SS in the Belmont(his biggest race of SS life), and only got beat by two terribly bad rides by a nose and neck. Very simple

  • Easy Goer, eclipse award champion already as a two year old, been there done that! And Pat Day was the OWNED one, getting Easy Goer beat a nose and neck in two races.

  • SS owned NOBODY! More like Easy Goer OWNED SS in the Belmont..and two terrible Pat Day rides got Easy Goer beat a nose and neck in two races.

  • It was said by drfager01,and I totally agree. Easy Goer, here we have a horse with record speed(1:32.2) abilities at a mile and shorter distances, and a thoroughly genuine and amazing stamina to run the second fastest Belmont of all time, and run some of the most historic races won by many Hall of Famers at every distance,8f,9f,10f,12f, and Pat Day rode him with "kid gloves and baby hands", rode him awful in two outs to get him beat a nostril & desperate neck. That was very clear.

  • But the major difference between all those was that Easy Goer was UNDOUBTEDLY a top 10 thorobred in talent, ability, constitution, speed, stamina, with the clear proof of that coming from his many, many top 10 thorobred performances in his career at all distances,6.5F,7F,8F,9F,10F,12F, but the two ridiculously bad and typical Pat Day rides that got him beat a nose and neck in two races put him down into the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • Pat Day ONLY rode Easy Goer ridiculously bad in two races? NO, NOT!! Typical typical atrocious riding on so many top horses costing them Eclipse Awards, Derby's, Breeders Cup races, champion honors- Sky Classic in 92', Turkoman in 86', Forty Niner, Menifee, Heavenly Prize in 94 Distaff & 95 Beldame, Seeking the Gold, Paradise Creek in 94 Japan Cup, Surfside in 99 BC Juv Fill, Banshee Breeze in 99 Distaff, and so many others.

  • Like so many of the racing experts stated from all regions, west and east(Bill Christine, Crist, Nack,Watchmaker,Hirsch, etc), but stated the most correct by Paul Moran of espn, "Easy Goer was the better and more remarkable and extraordinary horse, but was defeated by a whisker and desperate neck in two races because Pat Day rode him like the exposed end of a live wire, rode him horribly." So true and correct and I agree.

  • Two horrible Pat Day rides got Easy Goer beat a whisker and desperate neck in two races.

  • Yeah sure you knew what jockey was on who. Oh yeah,, yeah sure. Go back and learn about all of Day's self-admitted horrible rides.

  • Doesn't matter what state anybody is from, anybody can see that Easy Goer was always a top ten thoroughbred in talent and ability and consitution and speed and stamina and they both ran all distances, but two atrocious rides by Day got the best horse beat a nose and neck in two races.

  • But the huge difference was that Easy Goer was always undoubtedly a top ten racehorse in talent, ability, constitution, speed, stamina, with the clear proof of that coming from his many top ten racehorse performances in his career at all distances, but the two extremely atrocious rides that got him beat a nose and neck in two races(I don't count this Derby), put him down into the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • Pat Day only rode Easy Goer atrociously bad in two(I don't count this Derby) races? No not in the least. His typically atrocious riding cost many horses eclipse awards,Derby's,Breeders Cup races, champion honors- Sky Classic in 92, Turkoman in 86, Java Gold in 87, Menifee in 99, Forty Niner in 88,Heavenly Prize in 94 Distaff and 95 Beldame, Seeking the Gold,Banshee Breeze and Surfside in 99,Paradise Creek in 94 Japan Cup,and so many others.

  • Pat Day? He got dominated when he rode in California, New York and Florida, he won all his jockey titles in the midwest in Ky and Arkansas. The Pincay,Cordero,McCarron,Stevens,Velasquez,Eddie D's, schooled him. Pat Day one his ONLY Derby one his home track with Lil E Tee when A.P. Indy had to scratch the morning of the race and Arazi had double knee surgery and one prep in England on grass at a mile for it. The only one.

  • Pat Day states it himself, how horibble his riding was, he don't need me.

  • Like many of the turf writers experts from all parts of America stated, but stated the most correct by Paul Moran of espn, "Easy Goer was the better and more remarkably and extraordinarily talented horse, but was defeated by a whisker and desperate neck because Pat Day rode him like the exposed end of a live wire, rode him horribly." So true and correct.

  • @cowhanson LOL! Idiiot, CRAIG PERRET rode Unbridled in the Derby! LOL

  • SS gets killed and destroyed by Easy Goer in the Belmont by 8, loses a GRADE 2 to Prized, loses three times at Hollywood Park in his life, loses to Criminal Type giving LESS weight away than EG had to give away to him, and his own jockey still and has always stated that Arazi was the best horse he ever rode.

  • I have said it before, Easy Goer was far superior than SS at any distance over 10F. And in the Preakness at 9.5F and Classic at 10F, two atrocious rides got him beat a nose and neck, but over a funky, peanut buttery muddy Churchill track, both Is It True and SS were better than EG.

  • Some people do not even know that Easy Goer never finished off the board and never got beat by more than two and a half lengths in his career? How sad, they better watch the Belmont and see how far SS got beat, it was eight lengths, and could have been double that.

  • LOL! Easy Goer WAS never worse than 3rd, and NEVER beaten by more than 2 lengths in his whole career! Can SS say that? NO, he was killed by Easy Goer by 8 lengths in the Belmont. Let's see, 2 lengths to 8 lengths. Hmmm

  • Better start getting that racing manual that applied to Forego, Kelso, Easy Goer, Tom Fool, etc out. Or the one for Native Diver, Ack Ack, Noor and some others.

  • Easy Goer was always without any doubts whatsoever a top ten thoroughbred in ability, talent, speed, stamina, with so many of his top ten thorobred performances as proof & evidence, but the two extremely atrociously ridiculous rides that got him beat by nose and neck, put him down in the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • EG was far superior than SS at any distance over 10F, and two ridiculously bad rides got EG beat a nose and neck in two races at 9.5f and 10f, but ss and Is It True were better than EG over that off track, peanut butter Chuchill Downs track.

  • Easy Goer was no doubt whatsoever a top ten thoroughbred in talent and ability, but the two atrocious rides that got him beat a nose and neck, put him down in the thirties where ss always belonged.

  • Like Mr. Paul Moran of espn stated so correctly, "Easy Goer was the better and more sensationally talented horse, but was defeated an inch and desperate neck because Pat Day rode him like the exposed end of a live wire." So true and correct

  • It is amazing how Easy Goer will always be mentioned in the same breath with the greatest of all time, with many top 10 racehorse performances in his life, despite the two awful rides that got him beat a nostril and neck. SS was never nor will ever be mentioned with the Secretariat, Dr Fager, Kelso,Buckpasser, etc

  • Easy Goer, record three year old mile of all time, second fastest Belmont Stakes of all time. Some of the fastest runnings of the most prestigious races in the Travers,Whitney,Suburban,Belmont,Champagne,Gotham, 6.5f as a two yr old. Two awful awful rides got him beat a nostril and neck.

  • No doubt at all that the better racehorse, Easy Goer, got beat by two awful awful rides by a nostril and neck.

  • Easy Goer is in with some Mighty, Immortal Legendary Company on that Behind on the Scoreboard List with Citation, Kelso(lost 3 of 4 to Beau Purple, what Else do u Want Beau Purple to do), Round Table, Whirlaway, Skip Away, Native Diver,Forego,John Henry,Unbridled,Pleasant Colony,Ancient Title, Kotashaan,Ferdinand,etc..ALL Behind on the Scoreboard.

  • Easy Goer, Tribute to the TRUE and REAL Hall of Fame champion great who could run any distance, and run any distance sensationally brilliant, and SS could NOT!! NOT!! EG, the better horse, only got beat a nose and neck because of two terribly bad rides.

  • Easy Goer was the better horse, only got beat a nose and neck because of two terribly bad rides. Simple

  • Easy Goer was no doubt at all a Top 10 racehorse in talent and ability, but the two atrocious rides that got him beat a nose and neck, put him down where ss always belonged in the #30's.

  • Easy Goer got beat by two bad rides. Bid got beat by a bad, bad ride. Smarty Jones got beat by a bad ride. Sunday Silence got beat bya bad ride in the loss to Prized.(This was not).Man O'War's only loss was a bad, bad ride. It happens, horses get beat by bad rides, even SS.

  • Easy Goer was one of the rare ones that was blessed with blazing, record speed at a mile, along with a genuine, brilliant stamina to go with it. One of the rare ones indeed. 8 or 9 races right with track records in his career.

  • No doubt at all that the best horse, Easy Goer, got beat by two awful awful rides bya nostril and neck. Now, those were two awful awful rides. This wasn't a bad ride. Maybe say, SS won despite not being disqualified for interfering with two other horses.

  • Even the UNBIASED Californian expert Bill Christine called Day's riding dispicably bad, and how Day made three huge mistakes to get the best horse beat in the Preakness by an inch. Now that is a dispicably bad ride.

  • That is correct. It wasn't a bad ride. Nobody has ever stated this was a bad ride at all. This is just a jockey beating a horse up with the whip and him shying from the whip and crowd and him knocking into other horses. A bad ride was when SS got beat in the Swaps stakes.

  • Easy Goer, hail to the TRUE and REAL Hall of Fame champion who could run any distance, from sprint to mile to classic to marathon, and run any distance sensationally brilliant and SS could NOT!! NOT!! EG only lost by a nose and neck because of terrible terrible riding.

  • Easy Goer only lost because of two terrible terrible rides bya nose and neck. Simple

  • Easy Goer runs the wors race of his career, doesn't handle the track, never even gets out of second gear, and all ss can do is win by two in 2:05 and foul Northern Wolf and Triple Buck!! Where was ss in the test of a champion? He needed wings and binocs to even see Easy Goer!!

  • NOBODY has ever said that was a bad ride, EVER! It's called SS FOULING Northern Wolf in the stretch and also fouling Triple Buck at the start, NOT a bad ride.

  • LOL!! Steveldk or sl7293???LOL

  • Easy Goer, the Fastest 3YO MIle Since the GENESIS of the Breed, and the 2nd Fastest Test of the Champion Belmont Stakes Since the Genesis of the Breed. and 7 or 8 races on Track Records in his Career, a Campaign for the Ages. That nose and neck did cost Him Indeed!

  • Easy Goer was always no doubt a Top 5 or 10 all time horse in talent and ability, but the two atrocious rides that got him beat a nose and neck put him down where ss always belonged in the thirties.

  • Easy Goer will always be mentioned with the greatest of all time, despite the two awful awful rides that got him beat a nostril and neck. SS was never nor will ever be mentioned with the DR Fager's, Secretariat, Kelso, Buckpasser, etc

  • Easy Goer was one of the rare ones that had blistering record speed at a mile, along with a brilliant and genuine stamina as well.

  • Easy Goer was the better racehorse, and only got beat by two extremely bad rides by an inch and neck.

  • Easy Goer only lost by a nose and neck because of two terribly bad rides.

  • LOL!! Easy Goer runs the worst race of his life, doesn't handle the track, never even gets out of second gear, and all SS can do is win by two in 2:05!!LOL where was SS in the test of the champion, he needed wings and binocs to see EG!!

  • Easy Goer was always no doubt at all a Top 5 or 10 all time horse in talent and ability, but the two atrocious rides that got him beat a nose and neck, put him down where SS always belonged in the thirties

  • Easy Goer will always be mentioned with the greatest of all time, the Dr Fager's, Secretariat, Kelso, Buckpasser, etc, despite the two awful awful rides that got him beat a nostril and neck. SS was never nor will ever be mentioned these, ever!

  • Easy Goer is in with some Might Legendary Immortal Company on that Scoreboard list with the Likes of Citation,Kelso, Round Table, Whirlaway, Native Diver, Forego,John Henry,Skip Away, UNbridled, Kotashaan,Plsnt Coplony etc

  • No doubt at all that the better horse, Easy Goer, only got beat because of two extremely bad rides by an inch and neck.

  • Easy Goer, tribute to the TRUE Hall of fame champion great who could run any distance and run any distance sensationally brilliant and SS could NOT!! NOT!!EG only got beat a nose and neck because of two terribly bad rides.

  • Easy Goer ONLY got beat by two terribly bad rides by a nose and neck. Simple

  • Easy Goer was no doubt at all a Top five or ten all time racehorse in talent and ability, but the two extremely atrotious rides that got him beat a nose and neck, put him down where ss always belonged in the thirties.

  • Easy Goer is in with some greats who didn't handle the track and CD and lost the Derby-Native Dancer, Holy Bull, Skip Away, Point Given, Afleet Alex, Risen Star, Damscus, Nashua,Bold Ruler,Curlin, etc.

  • Easy Goer did NOT lose the Preakness by a nose and Classic by a neck because of what state and track they were on.Even SS fans wouldn't say that. He lost by a nose and neck because of dispicably bad riding.

  • Easy Goer clearly runs the worst race of his career, doesn't handle the track, never even gets out of second gear, and all SS can do is win by two in 2:05!! Where was ss in the test of a champion Belmont? He needed wings and binocs to even see EG! Oh yeah, and Whittingham blamed the track too! LOL

  • LOL!! SS was leading sire in JAPAN where the leading sire for the ten years before him was NORTHERN TASTE!! LOL!!SS did NOTHING in USA and Europe!! Easy Goer died after just a few crops, and still is the sire and broodmare sire of Corinthian, Storm Flag Flying, Will's Way, My Flag, Furlough, Funny Moon, Monba, etc.

  • He knows his pot and kettle are as black as can possibly be. He resorts to telling people to shut up now. Gotta love that one!

  • The black kettle is now telling people to shut up?? Hilarious you are, black kettle.

  • Easy Goer is not alone in being a legend who didn't win the Derby, some were due to that quirky Churchill surface, some not. Damascus, Holy Bull, Easy Goer, Skip Away, Point Given, Native Dancer, Unbridled's Song,Afleet Alex, Risen Star, and many others.

  • @EASYGOER4LIFE your exactly right, Man O' War didn't either

  • Easy Goer could handle sloppy tracks, as he did in his Woodward and first start as a four year old. but he simply could not handle that Churchill Downs slop in his two starts there in his career. That Churchill Downs slop is completely different, a clay based quirky track.

  • DON"T tell me to shut up!!! Who the hell do you think you are? You tell me to shut up? You shut up.

  • Hey FRAUD Clown Doc LIvingston BE109, You are the Biggest FRAUD and have been for 3 years all over and on everyvideo on Utube! What a Fraud "Trainer" you are! • No doubt at all that the better horse got beat by two awful awful rides by a whisker and neck

  • Though I would agree with Pat Day on saying his ride was" not just rider error" but "Absolute rider error". And Day didnt or doesnt just say that because of the huge criticism he got from everybody. Not at all

  • Once again, I do not need Pat Day or Steve Crist or anybody else to tell me how atrocious his rides were. !

  • Believe me, he knows his pot is blacker than the silks of the Phipps. He knows that without a doubt.

  • The blackest pot and kettle ever is Be109! Only he would threaten to punch someone from behind his computer screen. I am still waiting for him to send me to the Bold Ruler moon, or the Mine that Bird moon, or the Round Table moon.

  • The TRUTH kinda stings doesnt it BE109 DOC Livingston. The TRUTH is you are the Biggest Fraud TRainer in the World for 3 years on here. YOU threaten to bash peoples teeth in, want to box People on here. Call videos your turf like a Nut, then get blcoked & erased from those very videos. Call people asshole, jackass, Idiot, Chickensit etc.

  • I don't need Pat Day to tell me his rides were extremely atrocious. I can see it for myself. And I don't need all the writers to tell me that either. LOL

  • Easy Goer CLEARLY did not handle the Churchill slop, and he handled other sloppy tracks. For that, you can go ahead and rip him all you want for that. But, CLEARLY he got beat a nostril and neck because of awful awful rides.

  • I would agree with Pat Day and what he has said for 20 years on his "ABSOLUTE rider error". And Day hasnt been saying that for over 20 years because of the huge criticism he got from all the turf writers. Day knows what he did absolutely wrong.

  • LOL!! Hey DOC Livingston FRAUD Clown BE109! YOU are the ONE who threatens to bash peoples teeth in, wants to box people, calls videos YOUR TURF like a sicko NUT, calls people asshole, jackass, idiot, chickenshit, etc. And has been the biggest fraud "trainer" on utube for 3 years now!!

  • Heck, Pat Day, a little more than a year ago, did the Breeders' Cup Legends tour with Cordero, Pincay, etc, and he was asked about it and STILL says his "totaly pilot error" and very bad ride got the better horse, Easy Goer, beat. If I saw him, I would agree with him. Lol

  • I don't need Pat Day to tell me in person, himself, that his rides were atrocious! Lol! I can see that for myself. He says it himself, but everybody can see it.

  • LOL! I would agree with what Pat Day has been saying for 20 years, and still says about his "absolute rider error"! Just agreemeent. Mr DOC Livingston fraud clown

  • That is very true and well put, Life. Easy Goer/SS was like Dr. Fager/Damascus or Alysheba/Bet Twice or Majestic Prince/Arts and Letters.

  • Easy Goer could handle sloppy tracks when he won the Woodward and his initial start as a four year old, but he just hated that clay Churchill Downs slop and mud. Well, there have been some great horses who lost the Derby, Damascus, Easy Goer, Point Given, Holy Bull, Skip Away, Afleet Alex,Curlin, Native Dancer, some didn't handle the Churchill track, some did.

  • This day was the start of the greatest 2-horse rivalry, and IMO, the only rivalry that has ever come close to matching the Affirmed - Alydar rivalry. Like Affirmed and Alydar, Sunday Silence won more races against each other of the two, but Easy Goer did beat Sunday Silence in the Belmont. Then went on quite a roll of wins before losing the 89' B.C.Classic to Sunday Silence.

  • The video does not lie DOC Livingston BE109! EG is clearly a 1/2length behind Diamond Donnie with 6f to go, and with 4f to go, he is at least 2 1/2 lengths back! The video shows that, does it not? DOC

  • In fact, go further than that black kettle. After watching the race, don't just tell me if I am wrong, tell me how many lengths back EG was with 6F to run in the Gotham, and how many he was back with 4F to run in the Gotham! You tell me your answer after watching the race.

  • Black kettle, all you have to do is watch the video of the race, and you tell me if I am wrong about how many lengths back EG was at these points of the race! YOU tell me if I am wrong after watching the race.
