  • That's the same stick I just bought

  • so basicly if u broke u cant play!? not far!

  • forgot neck-protection

  • press 3 slap that ass

  • LOL PRESS 4 ALOT HAHAHAHAHA

  • Lmao facemax!

  • press 8 really fast

  • no cup now my balls will hurt =(

  • It's never too late to play hockey

  • @random7078 I know it's been a while but I just want to say I've just started playing hockey last year at 13 years old around April

And I'm actually better than most of the people I know that play aa minor hockey. I know because I scored 4 goals when we were playing a pick up game withmy friends at the rink. I am now 14 and still working hard to make sure I make my school hockey team. Most of my hockey studies were towards goalie training though, that's why I have an edge at scoring. It's never

  • so what happens to this guy when he gets hit in the balls?

  • hahaha 0:51 - 0:53 good shit

  • hahaha 0:53 some good shit

  • keep pressing 3 (look at his hand) or 4 XD

  • And then we need stick tape and some good sock's ?

  • he's tryin' to get us steril

  • How do I keep my pants up? LOL

  • what happen if i kick him in hes groin ... 'cause he kinda missed a equipment

  • umm what are those things you put on your nuts so they don't get demolished? don't you need those?

  • freeze at 0:37

  • @zargon220 lol

  • or you could have a full visor like what i do its a bauer recon

  • your hockey stick is not your best friend its your weapon

  • 0:50 "good shit, pair of shoulder pads for ya"

  • i play in a league in seattle its all about the requirements and what you feel you need. all i use are skates, shin pads, pants, gloves and a helmet visor or cage optional. But they really need to go into detail on the equipment for the type of skater or player you are.

  • whats the difference between cage helmets and the visor ones? i know they look different but which is better?

  • @ImpOverpower The visor helmets have actual visors attached to them, and the visors can range from small to protect just the eyes, to large to protect most of the face. These are usually used in the big league. The cage helmets offer full face protection and are used in the minor leagues, not like the ahl minor league, like your local hockey league.

  • This is no how-to. Why would you not explain proper sizing of equipment? Stupid video, you guys already have a vid about equipment needed for playing. Showing people proper sizing would be of great benefit.

  • do u need a mouth guard cuzz uve got a helmet wit a full cage ???

  • Where in U FN anyway???

  • dont go 4 big goals, little at a time, like go for being in the top 10 in ponts..then on from their..then try and get drafted..going straight for the NHL is hard..and your always going to think about "what if i dont make it?" so dont go big..a ...and just cuz you dont have money doesnt mean you cant play..go to every open hockey you can..and im 11 and ive been goalie since i was 8..but been playing street hockey since 3 yrs of age..(goalie)

  • im 12 and i wanna start agin cuz i quit acouple years ago but i wanna play agian , but thw thing is io dont kno weather i should play ina rec. league or tryout for a A league :/

  • what do u think i should do?

  • Obviously this guy doesn't care about his junk at all. No cup??

  • lol he forgot a box if you get whacked in the nuts with a stick and have no box it hurts bad my mate went to hospital cause he had brusing on his left testicle XD

  • how did that help us he told us what we already new

  • well first of all get off youtube

  • im 15 and i want to learn how to play hockey where could i go to do this i live in GA

  • Buy a stick

Buy a net (it can be plastic) get a tennis ball and play

At the same time Skate a lot, if its summer time, roller blade or go to an indoor arena

  • @TheRandomGrabber Would it be hard to start ie hockey at a older age? im 15 and never had the guts to join a league but im pretty good.

    Thanks.

  • I don't think it would be too hard to begin at a higher age

you should just practice like crazy before tryouts and maybe you'll have a shot

  • Well i was just thinking about going for the C team just to see how it would go but people have told me its kind of something you have to do from like 5 and just work your way up.. i don't know, just nervous.

  • I understand your fear, but experience is something you gain from playing. Yes, people who have played since 5 will usually perform better than the average casual player

However if you try hard and skate and play hockey almost every day then you will be as good or better than the kids who have been playing since 6

  • @TheRandomGrabber Do you play?, if so, for how long?

  • I don't play much

but I am Canadian and have know the game in almost every aspect

  • @random 7078 i started hockey at 7 and ive benn doing fine im 13 now and play in a A league in winter and AAA in spring. it is hard but u have to work hard

  • Well 7 is a good age to start, im 15, starting now is going to be really hard

  • I'm 17 turning 18 in June & i wanna start Ice Hockey. I've played hockey almost everyday & i'm good at it but barely skated before & i'm watches videos like this to help me out. My dream is to play for Toronto Maple Leafs. =]

  • i say go for it man, i wish i wad the guts to try

  • I know how you feel im 14 and i want to start. i think we should both go for it.

  • it does cost a lot of money, that was always the problem for me

  • thats a probem for me too. i think most organizations offer a hardship fund.

  • Turns out it would be better off if i didnt play.. i guess they prefer if you play from a younger age and work you're way up.. There is no hockey team for my high school, they took the team away because guys were using it as a reason to fight, so i guess ill let it go, anyway.. thanks for all the replies.

  • Remember

You can do anything if you want to

  • @random7078

Get on the Ice it doesn't matter if you are 30 or 18 you can play Ice Hockey. You need to find players at your ability and practice with them. As you progress forward with your skating skills and stick handling skills you move up in level of talent. Believe me you need to play the game it's the greatest game on earth and once you start to play you can play until you are 70. I'm serious I grew up in Wisconsin now live in CA and many of my CA friends started playing in their 20's

  • he forgot a jock

  • omg no cup :(((

  • um ill go for 400$ to 600$ im advanced but 1,500$

  • I doubt it. My One95s are 700 alone, then 40 gloves and 9500 bucket V10 shouldies, warrior hustler pants and then sticks would come out to Around 2G. I bought it all myself to lol. What are you rocking that only costs six hundred?

  • Nice :p i got 9k white pumps and all rbk ccm sponsered i can suit up for 1200 instead of 2400

  • 9ks suck there heavy i had them for a year then i bought XXXXs.. best ever

  • u+ es are pretty like never felt 40s though

  • you guys forgot the jock strap !!!!!!! to me its the most important piece of equipement !!!!you dont want a slapshoot at 90 in the testicul whitout that piece of equipement trust me it hurt haha even if you ave the jock strap loll !!

  • nice one90's

  • Naht lol. There garbage

  • Isn´t it he most important thing to protect your joints?

They are taking all impact when you hits the ice?

Give a good brand name, recommendation.

I`ve heard of Joint Disperse System, JDP.

  • good thing i got my shoulder pads to protect my abdomen, not my chest, but my abdomen hahaha. i love these shitty expert village videos. they're so bad, they're awesome hahaha

  • you for got the cup like the most in portant thing

  • Man I can't stand the mouthpieces that come attached to the helmet, I always just get mine done at the dentists. It's alot more comfortable and fits your mouth perfectly.

  • 0:53 he said " a good shit pair of shoulder pads" lol

  • lol its not just "shoulderpads" its "a shit pair of shoulder pads"

  • neck guard?

  • Comment removed

  • You're gonna need a helmet with a good nice face maks and cage.

  • no jersey and tape

  • jersey...if playing with the team..you can get the jersey from the coach or something ... the tape will always be recommended when buying sticks

  • ha, what he forgot were the jock and socks.

  • lols true... hmm... but what he recommended were the equipments that you really need for ice hockey

  • i think i know why for the jocks coz now for some pants ... jocks are added into them

  • lmao he said Shit Shoulder pads

  • no he didn't he said "get some good SHAPE shoulder pads"

  • What about your jackstrap with velcros to hold your socks?

  • haha hes at the bell sens plex shoping thing. cool!

  • use tape!

  • it your a parent and your kid is just starting out you should probably buy your kid to absolute best!!!

  • well thats what most parents at the pro shop think. they'll buy their kid a composite stick and the kid has'nt yet learned how to skate

  • yeah i see what you mean, but protective gear and skates are crucial, stick ? not so much. I noticed a difference from going to Canadian tire skates to top of the line skates in peewee big time, never went back.

  • he said gettin some good shit pair of shoulder pads.

  • yea he messed up

  • forgot to mention your best friend should be the cup!!!..

  • @kin1013 cup isn't really a gear, i my opinion, as they are mostly together with your straps. It is a very important piece, but he also didn't mention hockey shirt, neck guard, gaiters or overalls that you wear under all that gear.

So i guess, this all is protective gear, and he wasn't talking about accessories. Because cup is an accessory

  • this vid is a lie i've been playing hockey for 8 years and it costs $850 for all the equipment

  • face mask and mouth piece are not necessary! Also u can buy light shoulder pads with less protection which allows u to move faster!

  • bad idea. last thing you want is to get slammed and bite off your tongue or get a puck to the face

  • yh i think he did lol

  • lol idk

  • did he say gettin some good shit for your shoulder pads?
