Monica is so down to earth and carries herself so well. I love the way she spoke so natural in this interview...nothing fake or scripted sounding. Brandy and Aaliyah were such great originals back in the day no one compares to them just like she said. Monica was a strong talent as well coming out so young with that big voice.

Why is Ciara's name being brought up on a video that she wasn't even mentioned in. Ciara may not have the vocal abilities of Aaliyah, but she is a much better dancer than Aaliyah. How wasn't it her voice? Aaliyah didnt even use her sex appeal or her dance moves until later on in her career. During her first album she didn't even dance and wore sunglasses so the media hardly even saw her face. So, she sold records because she had a beautiful voice. At Your Best was a beautiful song. Why is Ciara's name being brought up on a video that she wasn't even mentioned in. Ciara may not have the vocal abilities of Aaliyah, but she is a much better dancer than Aaliyah. Ciara also writes a lot of her songs and produces some of them and she choreographs some of her dance moves and we all know as a performer, Ciara is one of the best in the industry. I personally feel as an overall artist, Aaliyah is more talented, but I feel that Ciara brings more to the table than Aaliyah did.
