8" Skywatcher telescope calibration

I have tried equatorial mounts, but for eyepiece observation, you really cannot beat the alt/az.

Too often the equatorial has you on your knees, in the snow, or frost, with a crick in the neck.

How does this mount handel the 8" tube? I was wondering do you think this mount could ahndle a very precicely ballanced 10" tube in no wind conditions? or would that be pushing it. I am not sure what size goto EQ mount for my 10" Tube. Same as you'rs except 10" Aperature and a little longer, it almost looks like the actuall DOB mount tubes, but not quite that long. I'm thinking an WQ6 may be too small. Cheers, IC.

@IcechickenSr you'd be pushing it with the much heavier duty EQ6PRO imho. Get the best mount you can, it's *vital*, especially if you want to go into astro imaging.
