This game looks great, i think the good part is that in wow if you a pally people keep asking if you are a healer or tank but in this game if your a templar then obviously a tank.. this game is going to take mmo's to a new level.

I haven't had that problem. Only thing with GG that I had a problem with was the whole you need to re-install...which NCSoft says is nothing to worry about.

Its Crytek 1 but Aiola69 still has a point there is still a 100x better gfx to it. Ya ya a game is not about gfx. THIS GAME IS AWESOME! pvp, structure, flying, sieging, abyss pvp, rift pvp, quest andddddd nice gfx.

How is this game like wow ? becuase they have armor and a sword and some people use magic ? Thats like saying the 500k house i live in is the same as your 20k house becuase it has a door and a bathroom. This game is so orginal, no elves, no orcs, you can fly, and not on a mount but your the actual person flying and it's used in pvp. You start off away from the bad guys and you don't level with them and u kill them on sight. This is nothing like WOW the chars down even look the same.
Guys anyone know why when im installing the 1.0.5 patch ( Aion CBT to OBT from fileplanet) I get this message " Aion does not appear to be installed on ur machine!" And there was still something else.
When i try to login on my aion account theres a message poping saying cannot connect to the authentification server then Aion close can someone help to resolve this problem? ive been trying for a long time to play this game but it always tell me that same message
Well no one can log on atm because the servers arnt up. OB starts on sept 6 and goes until the 13th. If you have a OB key, preorder, or played in the CB then you can get on during the OB. If you still cant log on then e-mail NCsoft and tell them about your issue.
Highly looking forward to this game as well. Beta has been really good, and the game is well-polished already unlike most MMOs that have come out recently to try and compete with the big WoW.

That's because you probably made a tiny character, larger characters have a slower running animation, smaller characters have a faster one

I haven't had that problem. Only thing with GG that I had a problem with was the whole you need to re-install...which NCSoft says is nothing to worry about.

this game is nothing like GW, and it's similarities to wow end in it's similar skill based combat. it's a lot more dynamic then wow though.
and it's mix of pvp with pve gives it a totally different feel from wow.

Aion uses the CryEngine2 has which was used for Crytek's game, Crysis.
Compairing Aion to Wow is like compairing pong to aion. thier is no comparison.

yeah , you will have to patch , though speed is way too low 15-50 kb/s for 3,800 Mb , thats sorta 25 hours.

Sure it does. It has quest grinding. Grinding to get to the level cap. Every MMO has some sort of grinding involved. Aion is no different.
