The river reached flood stage, but thankfully, the NWS forecasts a fall of about 6 inches a day from now until Sunday, when it will fall below "major flood stage."

As awful as the flood has been to the region, comparing it to the catastrophic damage & loss of life Katrina caused NOLA only makes you look silly.
