Some time ago I've shown blender to my good friend and after using it for a while he said although he loves some solutions and the new interface (on the contrary to 3dsmax) he won't use it since it works so slow. Now I understand why, thank you.

Some folks are having 'quit on start' It might be a dependency on python I'm not sure. Tell me what the console says. ... course that may be another video..... argh. Also, if that guy who did the patch would like credit he should message me again I've lost the details of his name and site.

nope it's the freetype dylib you need to have because I *$%# couldn't compile it in statically. My build sucks.
